Paul Slan is very professional lawyer with a lot of integrity. He was understanding and personable during a difficult divorce. He was both knowledgeable and an excellent listener. I had full confidence in him to deal with each situation intelligently while taking into account my thoughts and feelings.

Cindy Scharff was my lawyer for quite some time ( a couple of years) and one thing that is burned in my memory is that Family Law is not family friendly, the process was incredibly slow, frustrating and very expensive. Having said that though, Cindy was a constant guide and support through some very difficult times. Even when we were strangled by incompetence from those we had to deal with – Cindy kept me focused and moving forward. There were times when Cindy and I worked through challenges late at night and on weekends, taking valuable family time away from her so that we could ensure my family was taken care off. I cannot express how grateful I am that this chapter in my life is over – but I am very grateful that I had Cindy to help me through it. Cindy knows the Law ( we were faced with challenge after challenge) and although there were times when I was close to giving up and I questioned the integrity of others, Cindy helped me understand when it was necessary for me and my family to keep going and push forward - my faith in Cindy’s integrity never faltered. Thank you Cindy!

My mind was quickly out at ease when speaking with the lawyers at Gelman and Associates. The process was easily explained and the whole staff was very approachable and knowledgable. Hopefully I will not have to use their services soon but if I do I will know who to call.

Several years back I had the unfortunate task of locating a Family Lawyer for myself. I choose Poroshad Mahdi at Gelman & Associates, whom ended up being very knowledgeable and efficient at her work. 3 Years after that I needed her services again, only this time things were far more complicated for me. I could not have asked for more from Poroshad. She always remained professional but above all she was dignified and honorable in the way she handled my case. My children and I are grateful to her and the staff at Gelman & Associates for their hard work.
