Gee's Family Restaurant

This place has made me sick at least twice, and each time I get geared up for an "authentic" meal I find myself missing restaurants from out of town... don't recommend it... Panda is better, but your best bet is to find a restaurant that's out of Prineville for this type of food

Family owned. Good food, clean friendly atmosphere. Bar separate from dining area.

Personally this place has fallen off the map for me, had misunderstood that chicken almond chow mein wasnt just chow mein with almond, I guess the almond part means a plate of celery and chicken... I also had marfar chicken, half of which was over cooked till the point of basically disintegration, and the other half was just fried dough, no chicken. I told the waitress and she replied with "yeah, that happens". She then preceded to talk badly about us in the kitchen (which we could hear because the restaurant was dead and the kitchen was about 30 ft away.)This isn't the first bad experience with this place but it's definitely the last.

ok charming little local choke & puke. very kind staff. food is just ok but folks so nice its still totally worth it.
