Staff is great but Manager is not. Just bought a new bike. It took 7 days to come and arrived with a deep scratch on the frame. I asked for a small compensation. The Manager was kinda rude, saying I would scratch it eventually and said he won't do anything about it. I'm left with the choice of rejecting the bike I bought, or accept a brand new bike already damaged. I offered to buy a lock from them if they can offer me a discount on it... he offered 10%... what a joke!
Friendliest service around - and great service. Brought my road bike in for a tune-up and they took a quick look, made a few tiny adjustments immediately and sent me on my way. Super nice, quick, and always a pleasure to visit the store.
Friendly staff. They examined my bike thoroughly before quoting the price, and they fixed my brake and changed the brake pads in around 15 minutes. Very efficient. Spent 35 plus tax. Will definitely recommend this awesome place!
I had a great experience at Gears Bike Shop today! I brought my bike in with a broken chain. Mike and the service team were quick to help and only charged me for the parts! Highly recommend this place!
I brought my Specialized ebike in for service and came out with a better-performing bike. The service was excellent, everything was explained to me in a way I could understand. These are bike technicians who rightfully take a great deal of pride in their work, and are able to diagnose and fix bikes. I’m delighted.
Great service. Stopped by twice, once for a post and seat touch up tune and again for a tyre replacement. Was serviced as I walked into the store both times. Great expertise. Cheers!
Gears is honestly the best customer service. They've helped me when I was in a super need a replacement part when I was in a rush, and got me in and out no time. Also all my road bikes are from here and the tune ups and warranty is amazing. I can't ask for better quality and service. If there was something there, I got them to order it and had no issues. Also they offer a great rental program and if you want to test out the bikes, it's a super safe area to do so. Highly recommend it!
Higher end bike shop, most of the bikes on the floor are sold or in the shop for tune ups/repairs. When I have been here it hasn't been busy, there are normally 2-3 staff on the floor when I have been here... I never get a 'hello', I always approach a staff member for assistance.
Friendly staff and fast Service department. They are efficient and did a great job on my tune up and replacement parts on my system six.
Sales staff & mechanics are all super helpful. Can't say enough about this place! They kept my old hybrid bike running smoothly for many years. When I recently bought a new road bike from elsewhere simply due to stock, I immediately took it to them to get outfitted with accessories, new helmet etc. They answered all of my questions, recommended great solutions and were mindful of my budget, and even offered to help sort out my brake reach issues while I was there. So good to have a great local bike shop in the area that is as helpful to new cyclists like myself as they are to the pros walking in. Thanks Gears folks! You have a customer for life here....
