Gault Nature Reserve of McGill University

Great place to hike the whole year. Winter summer spring fall. You name it. Not far from Montreal. The park is very well preserved. My only negative point is that it is too crowded. And a lot of people does not follow the simple rules.

Great place for a winter hike. The trails are open year-round and you can rent snowshoes among other things. The trails aren't too hard, but you can do multiple summits if you are looking for a bigger challenge. We hike up and down the mountain in less than 3 hours usually. We go multiple times every year because it's always fun and the view from the summits are worth it!

There is a 7$charge per person. Great trails to climb to the top of the mountain. Expert and beginning paths. Lots of ppl on nice days so beware. Views are worth the hike.

This is an amazing hiking location that is easily accessible from Montreal. It’s about 1hr away, but well worth the drive. The cost is very reasonable and there is ample parking. The trails are very clean and well preserved. You have easy, intermediate and difficult trails with beautiful views to reward you for reaching the top.

Nice hike small Mont. 7$ / adult Make sure to check when it open and closes. Also, you need to get there a few hours before close time, as even if you get there before closing time, they might refuse you in, as they have to calculate the time you would need to come back to the entrance. 4-5 different tracks that have different difficulties.
