Really good. A bit pricey but I think it's worth it. Service was good. The place looks nice. The food was good but some dishes were a bit salty, sour. One steak was a bit overcooked but things happens. I think the staff really shines. They were willing to change the dish a bit to accommodate the client.
Went there for Mother's day brunch. The restaurant decor is great. The service was excellent, they went out of there way to accommodate the babies needs with our party. Booster seats ans high chair, warming up there food. The food was excellent and my wife said it was the best hollandaise sauce she had. Now we need to try the supper menu. Great experience!
Although a bit expensive, the food tasted great. I really liked the combination of flavours in my lobster linguini. The slight hint of spiciness went very well with the sweetness of the lobster and the sourness of the cherry tomatoes. The portions were also a bit small, but still decently filling. The drinks were also decent. Even though it took quite some time before they took our orders, the food was served rather quickly and that was pleasant. Our waitress was very friendly and overall we had a great time.
Wow this place was awesome ! Love how laval is doing their own thing and getting way more fabulous as time goes by.. you don't even need mtl anymore lol It was Super EASY to get a reservation on OpenTable ! The resto even called to confirm our presence twice pretty sweet! We came here for a dinner date and it's seriously a nice intimate place for it. This place is bomb!! They're in the food space of the place Bell in laval! It is super beautiful decor as you walk in Parking is free underground if you eat here ! dope! Our waiter was super nice and friendly he gave us good recommendations and made sure to cater to all our needs very efficiently ! Food: 5++++ everything was freshly prepared and cooked perfectly ! We had a bunch of Appetizers we shared they brought us extra plates so we can grab stuff on our plate more easily loved it! My faveeeeee the Charred Cauli caccio i pepe wow the sauce was super flavourful and the cauliflower was cooked so delicious ! Super crispy and well seasoned I really enjoyed it The olives were served warm that's super rare and I loved it ! Its so different from just regular olives .. they were delicious ! 5/5 The sautéed mushrooms 5/5 Chicken dish 5/5 .. it was a chicken breast and I was amazed by how much juices were actually flowing out the breast it was extremely tender and nicely seasoned 5/5!!!!!! It's so hard to get chicken breast cooked right and that juicy kudos!! Drinksss kept pouring !!! I enjoyed the rome sour and vodka/redbull really enjoyed how fast they got to the table! Overall, we had an amazing time a great first impression and we will obviously be back here again for part 2 our new favourite spot !! Super happy we found this place by fluke !! Can't wait to try their other dishes next time! Totally recommend !! Cheers
We went for one of my sister's birthday. The atmosphere and ambiance was very trendy and viby. Good music and dj playing. We had a very warm welcome from the staff and the service was very good. The place is beautiful and place one of the best stop for friends meet up and mingle. It is a great spot for birthday celebration or simply to enjoy their delicious pizza and pasta dishes! Their cocktails are very nice and well made. Their pasta and pizza are delicious but the size of their pasta dishes are very small see photo. So ratio quality/price is not very good if you compare to other Pasta Specialized places like Scarolies. If they could increase their portion, this would be even better. To be more specific on the taste, it is very good as they are using good products. One downside is their menu, it is a bit limited in term of Pasta and Pizza. Overall, this place is a Gem in Laval as it is located in the Place Bell, and you have access to free parking. If you don't drive, it is located like 5min by walk from the Montmorency metro station. Ambiance and atmosphere is great and food is delicious simple and fresh products. This is the perfect place to meet single boys and girls. There are so many young people there. I definitely recommend this place! You cannot go wrong with their food and the vibe Parking: Free parking available in Place Bell
Amazing experience our server Bianca was so nice and constantly kept checking on us. The staff was also very helpful. They would alternate between each other doing small things like taking our empty plates and glasses, filling our water when it was getting less that half etc. The environment was so charming even with outdoor seating I'd still sit inside! The drinks were great I had a bloody Caesar and it was huge! The food was delicious we had their calamari, beef tartare and chared colliflower for appetizers the tartare and colliflower were my favorite. Then for supper I had their filet mignon and I LOVED it probably one of my favorites from other restaurants I've tried. The pizza was also very good and fluffy stole q piece from my fiance . Overall it was a really great experience and I'll be going there hopefully again soon. Parking: You can get free parking by going into the parking garage on Corbusier for 2 hours.
Great experience at Gatto Matto! The food was excellent and the service provided by our waiter Nuno was off the hook! Great energy and attentiveness. Will definitely come back for the amazing personality of Nuno and the great ambiance from the DJ on Saturday night
A very nice and fancy restaurant that i had the pleasure to try with my friends last week, for my sister's birthday. When you arrive, don't forget to park in their inside parking, bring the card with you in order that the restaurant will be able to give you another card to pay with. The place is beautiful but was so crowded. You Need to make a reservation before. We tried many plates to share together, and all was tasty: fried potatoes with cheese was excellent, the goat salad we ordered it twice!! The ostopus is great as well as the raviolli. 2 things i didn't like and that is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5: The waitresses remove your plate while eating!! It happened many times, we had once to remove the plate from her hand, telling her that we are still eating. Food are still on the table and she was removing the plates. Then she started ro remove the food while there is food still in the plate. She will ask if we are still eating but she already took the plate, that really bothered us. The second thing is that the music is sooo loud. At the end, we were yelling to speak to each other. These issues can be fixed if they work on it.
Attended a wedding reception here Thanksgiving weekend. Food was delicious and the wait staff was awesome! Had a 4 course meal and had the best steak I've had in a long time. Great wedding venue, great restaurant!Food: 5/5
Fancy restaurant close to metro Montmorency, the decor is lovely, the service is attentive. What we ordered was also good but not as good as the rest. So why 4 stars? 1- when they ask you for water, they do not say that it's a bottled water they charge you: I prefer tap water but didn't get the option to get it/ it wasn't offered to me by the waitress. 2- The octopus is delicious, however 26$ for one tentacle is a bit outrageous. The pizza was very good! As for the drinks, stay away from the spritz…. It’s way too sweet. The negroni was good!
