Gatewood Elementary School

Where to begin! It has been well over a year since my Son attended Gatewood Elementary and my conscious is still giving me a hard time for not safeguarding my child like I should have! This school tried their hardest to break my child's spirit & creativeness.. My son like a lot of other children was sooo enthusiastic about going into the 1st grade, by summer he was mentally worn out! The prison to pipeline Industry is real and they thrive because there are those educators that feed it and our children. They insinuated countless times that my Beautiful Child had some kind of behavioral disfunction, weird because he never displayed it around me, relatives, in curricular activities or anywhere else! They have a policy that protects religion & values LGBT students & family.. But when it comes to those kids of Color, they will mistreat them every chance they get! They will lock Kindergartens in class room while gawking and pointing from outside, they will yell, intimidate, belittle, disregard, and stick them all in a single room calling them special ed... Please teach your children, protect your children, stay engaged and involved...
