A beautiful campsite, with well tended spots. However, the hours to access firewood are absolutely ridiculously tiny and random. Only one hour a day, closed two days out of the week. If you arrive after, tough luck and you'll have to pay the exorbitant cost at the gas station
A bit crowded even being only under a 100 sites. Some of the sites is very hard to back in if you have a larger trailer.
Review ver. 3: First night in this campsite was awful. The adults at the site next to mine just abandoned any pretense of control over their children, who, along with those of some friends, spent 11pm-2am chasing each other back and forth on bikes, screaming at the top of their lungs, and generally being d**ks. However. A Ranger promptly showed up the next day due to a noise complaint. Upon finding their campsite empty with an unattended fire, he left a warning. A conservation officer showed up a few hours later for THAT offense, giving them a ticket for one and/or both. Campsite is quite well maintained, good hiking trails, nice view, shower/toilet facilities, several beaches of varying size, and active, prompt enforcement of Parks Rules and Regs. If you don't play stupid games at this site, you won't win stupid prizes, and will likely have an enjoyable time.
Love this campsite. very clean and quiet. Certain sites are more spacious and private than others but each site is very well treed.
Nice quiet lake, swimmable sometimes, with paths and some camping spots overlooking lake. Downsides are allowed outboard motors on lake and generators in camping area.
Nice and clean beach is huge. The playgrounds are well kept and a tone of trails
Nice secluded area great for tenting
Beautiful campground. Awesome park for the kids
Lots private and full of trees. Very clean.
