If you’re a mom looking for a daycare that truly cares - Mini Academie ABC is one to look at.nnSince the new management took over in late 2025, we’ve genuinely felt a shift. There’s more intention, more care, and a real investment in making this a place where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.nnThey’ve updated the food menu with fresh, balanced meals, programs are being adjusted, and the environment is being refreshed - which shows they’re thinking long-term and always looking to improve.nnThe teachers have always been wonderful. My son absolutely loves his teacher and walks in happy every day. As a parent, that means everything. Knowing he’s safe, loved, and continuously developing gives me so much peace of mind.nnWe’re really grateful to be part of this daycare community.

Academie ABC has taken great care of my kids for years. Educators showed so much genuine love to my kids, it felt real and that was amazing. My kids look forward to going to daycare so they can hug them. The daily outings were also crucial in making the kids enjoy their days and in keeping them excited for activities.

My son has been in this daycare for one year and the teachers are amazing. They are taking such good care of him. I clearly see that he is happy and have a great amount of affection for his teachers.

I am writing this review after I sent my kid to another daycare & waited like 2 months so I could make a good evaluation with another reference.nnI will evaluate Mini-ABC Academy on 3 levels:n1- Teddy Bear room 0-18 months:nThe teachers were really good, one of them loves & adores kids & the other as well but she was very experienced. They treated the kids well and tried to integrate as many comments & requests as they could.n2- Little Monkey room 18-24 months:nThe teachers are simply horrible, not nice to kids, rushing into everything, even diaper change. My kid spent 4 weeks in that room, she developed at least 3 diaper rashes and was never cleaned properly from poop. I discovered that they change the diapers while the babies are standing???? Finding poop on baby’s bottom was very common feedback from other patents too. When my kid had a very severe diaper rash, to the extent that she was bleeding, the teacher took 5 days to accept to apply anti-fungal & anti-inflammatory cream to my baby? They had all the paperwork already done months ago but they lost it and had to restart all over. Moreover, every day, they just asked for an extra document or something different, & refused to treat her until they fix their mistake of losing the paperwork. Yes, my kid paid the bill of their unprofessionalism.nn3- The management:nThey look very professional BUT they aren’t because they are cost driven. They get the cheapest teachers in the market, the turnover rate is fabulous, and the food is a joke. I mean, the food in the new daycare is always protein + vegetables + carbs every day, but at Mini-ABC it was very frequently lentils or chickpeas as they are protein and vegetables and carbs at the same time, so more economic options. Snack is very often a pita? While at the new daycare, it is always vegetables! The second snack at the new daycare is a different type of fruit every day; while at Mini-ABC it could be bananas 3 days a week because it is cheaper. In the winter, they use sand, not salt because sand is cheaper. It was always slippery to the extent that I went back home one day, & got my salt & de-icing tools to clean up the main entrance as I didn’t want me or any other parent to slip while having his newborn in hand; this could be a catastrophe!!!!nnFinally, when you ask the management to integrate a special request for your kid, they will always find a way to refuse it! when you tell the management a bad comment about a teacher, they will act surprised as if they never heard that before and that it is an individual incident. Yet, I checked with other parents, and they all got the same response from the management while we all reported the same problem, the same week.nnThe cherry on top of the pie, they don’t have cameras inside the call room. Let me explain, one new teacher dropped my baby very badly on her head and never reported it and lied to the other teacher about it. A 5cm+ bump started to appear on my baby’s forehead & still the teacher kept lying about it, saying that my baby never felt. Only at the end of the day when the bump started to look very big and dark, she finally said: of yea, she fell asleep while sitting on the floor?! I was scared to death about my baby as when the baby fell on their head, sometimes, immediate action had to be taken. When I requested them to do an investigation, guess what, no cameras & no one knew what happened & it was my word vs the teacher’s. They also made me sign a report saying that the baby fell asleep on her own while she was on the floor. Unfortunately, I was so concerned about my baby that I just signed the report without even checking it just took my baby home and checked her out for any symptoms of brain damage or so. It was the worst experience and feeling ever.nnPlus, the daycare looks old and cribs are in a bad state...etc. The new daycare is amazing, and colourful, the food is homemade, healthy and diversified, and they have dance, fitness and art classes done by professionals, at the same price as Mini-ABC Academy.

Of all the daycares I visited, Mini Académie ABC is one of the best! The educators are beyond amazing! Vuyo has been so helpful in teaching our son new skills and answering our questions about his development. She is nurturing and loving and goes above and beyond with all of the babies. Our son loves being with her! Fran has been so wonderful with our son. She speaks so kindly to him and is very affectionate with him when he wants a hug. And he loves singing and reading with her. We are so grateful!nnBoth Vuyo and Fran are exceptional educators and Mini Académie ABC is so lucky to have them! As a teacher, it is very evident that they are experienced and experts in their field.nnAs a side note, the negative reviews on this page are not accurate or true to what is currently going on at Mini Académie ABC. I have several friends with babies there and everyone feels the same way about the daycare and the educators. AMAZING!
