The location of the restaurant is really convenient to access off the main strip in downtown Huntsville. It’s really cute from the moment you step inside to look at the menu & order. The bathroom is also decorated! The quality & flavor of the Gangnam Korean Fried Chicken is just outstanding! The portions are very generous. I really appreciated the fact the meal was served in a takeout style container, so that I could easily take home some very tasty leftovers! The restaurant is extremely clean. The service is 10 out of 10…. If you are a foodie, who loves Korean food, I highly suggest you make time to stop here to eat if you are ever in Huntsville!
A place to go if you plan to order food in Muskoka for take out or dine in. Food was good that's why this place is highly rated. It took around 15+ minutes to get the food prepared for pick up. So, order in advance online for pick up. The price was reasonable. We ordered the Gangnam party food package that's good for 7 to 8 people for $145+ The staff are friendly and parking is ample.
Amazing food and super friendly staff. We wanted to dine in but had to take out because of covid. It took us a while to get it back to resort but chicken was still crispy. Definitely going back for Korean fried chicken next time. We also loved the Korean vermicelli noodles, Japchae
*Takeout - Out of town review Before heading out to Arrowhead Provincial park we needed some dinner. Instead of your typical McDonald’s and Pizza, we saw this place from a distance from Canvas Brewery and decided to try it out based on the high reviews. Food: I’m not going to compare this to the city cause you just can’t. But my expectations were low coming in and it surprisingly wasn’t that bad. I’ve had better of course but in Huntsville, it’s pretty good. I would come back. The Gangnam Mozzarella Dogs can be improved by a lot. See places like Chungchun Rice Dog for example. If they can start making them and replicating it then it’ll be a hit. Bubble tea…it’s not your usual Coco or Chatime so unless you’re craving it, take a pass. It’s powder base. Overall, staff is really nice. Place is super clean. If I’m ever in the area again I would definitely drop by for a quick snack. Give this place a try and skip McDonald’s and regular pub food.
Traveling on the 400 and saw a sign for food on exit 219...kept driving till we were in downtown Huntsville and we kept driving straight till we saw this plaza with Pizza Nova and Gangnam Korea in it. We thought Gangnam Korea looked interesting and we thought we would try it. WOW! We were blown away how this little restaurant was. Super clean inside and even the washrooms were clean. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was so delicious!! For our drinks, we got Mango Bubble Tea, Pina Coloada Bubble Tea and Coconut Bubnle Tea. They were all very tasty and my favorite was the Pina Coloada. For food we tried for our first time the Half & Half Mozza Dog and also the Sesame Chicken dish. Everything was tasty and the portion size is excellent. The next time I would try the full Mozza Dog....their mozzarella is really good. What a great little gem of a restaurant and I'm happy I stumbled upon it.
We love Korean so we decided to try this spot on our way back from Algonquin Park. Clean and friendly service, really great portions, and fresh. Only suggestion is to have the fried chicken be less “tough” because most of the pieces were too hard / chewy. Otherwise, would definitely order again. Thank you!
The service was great and the lady at the counter was super friendly. The location is very trendy. Unfortunately the food was not the best. I ordered seafood fried rice and it was bland. I had to recook it once I was home. The veggie dumplings were good, not the best for sure. My friend ordered bulgogi and that also needed some soy sauce Maybe their chicken is the signature dish but unfortunately we didn't get the chance to try it! Next time. One thing that was great is the kimchi! I wish I had more of that.
A pleasant surprise hidden out here in Huntsville, we came from the Lion's lookout and we saw the bright yellow sign on the way and have decided to check out the place. It's clean, the food tastes great and the owners are friendly. Highly recommended to check out this place if you are in the area. We had the family dinner combo with the 2 different Korean chicken styles, Gangnam and Soy with the rest of the stuff that came with it. And they have a variety of bubble tea available. Hope to be able to visit this place again soon.
Incredible food! Absolutely the best chicken in Huntsville. The dumplings were very flavourful. We had three different kinds of bubble tea and couldn’t decide which one was best. Highly recommended! Can’t wait to go back!
The Best Hotdogs Korean Style ever in Canada maybe in the world. I really enjoyed the strawberry and coffee-caramel something bubble teas. The other store’s hotdogs are smaller I live in Ottawa with limited sauce. The Huntsville hotdogs are much bigger and many sauces. Very chewy and also crop. ”“ Also I LOVED soy sauce based chickens I forgot to take photos.
