My boyfriend made a reservation here on a Tuesday night for my birthday. We had to wait at the entrance for a while before the hostess came to serve us since it seemed quite busy. There were however a lot of tables with available seat so seating optimization didn’t seem to be that organized here. Aside from that our server was really friendly and gave us some great recommendations. Everything we ordered was delicious and packed with flavour. The portions were GENEROUS and each dish was flavourful and well composed. Would recommend ordering the salmon tank and the udon!!! BOTH WERE YUMMMMMMYYYY!! Would definitely recommend coming here for the amazing food, the great atmosphere and the good service. Will definitely be coming back with friends!
I used to LOVE this place, but now after COVID it definitely feels different. Price and menu have changed. Music too. But it's still a chill place to go hangout with friends, I like that they have different flavors of soju to choose from. Waitress wouldn't come unless we called her. Food was pretty good. Overall I would still go back and have se drinks with friends.
Went twice and really didn’t enjoy my time there. The music is so loud, you can’t hear anyone talking. The service was lousy, they just leave your plates and napkins in the middle of the table, you have to serve the table or 6 yourself. The AC isn’t strong enough and with the open terrasse all the bugs come into the restaurant, everything is too open, even the kitchen is exposed so all the fried food smells up the area. You walk out smelling like food... Drinks are weak and boring. Wasn’t impressed with anything we ordered, except the Cajun shrimp which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Ugly decor and uncomfortable seating. Such a downgrade since Ganadara the original. The seaweed rolls tasted like garbage, can’t get the bad taste out of my head. Don’t recommend for a night out between friends. Someone tell me what’s the good about this place... We all left complaining and annoyed.
Food is always delicious and fresh here. Service is quick and friendly. Many drinks to choose from. Fun kpop music. Overall, a great vibe. I recommend booking a reservation through instagram to secure a table as there are always long lineups. I removed a star because it gets really hot and humid in there, I feel like that could be and should be improved…but for now, dress lightly friends.
Really good food and drinks! Although some of the portions were quite small or decent like the salmon dupbap, each dish was still really delicious and well-seasoned. We loved the takoyaki and grilled squid here. The service was great as well, waitress was really friendly and accommodating!
A little bit disappointed... I'm used to come but this time was different. The food is still good but not very good as it was before, I noticed that the quality of the products changed, and the quantity also. But something else changed, the service. The service was so bad. Specially for one of the waitress, she wanted to clean the table even we didn't finish. We told her twice that we didn't finish, she walked 4 seconds in the other direction of the table and put again her hands on our plate to take it. After that, we paid the bill, and she was keeping walking and looking at us so we can just leave. Seriously, I didn't want to give any tips because the behavior was so rude and she didn't deserve it but anyway. We came the last one, but left the first one after 40 mins because it was so awkward
The food is really good and the drinks as well, no wonder this place is always fully booked or often really long line-up in front, so prepare to wait! It is worth it! This weekend I found out they take reservation, I will do that next time. Especially Friday or Saturday, where you cannot get a table without reserving. Food serve quite fast and the portion is very generous. Each dish always well done and very flavourful. My favorite is Seafood Nagasaki Udon the smokiness, and the heat of chili powder was on point, love it, whole squid grill, chicken skin chips, beef bibimbap, and Tteokbokki. For dessert, I love Oreo binsu and strawberry binsu. You have to try their cocktail, I will come back for the Peach-Achu. Staff is really nice and professional!
Very crowded at night so make sure you reserve ! Service is good and one of the most interesting settings. Really love the atmosphere created by the suspended wood. Tons of unique and refreshing cocktails to try out. The supreme poutine is massive and worth sharing with your friends. It’s a weird mix but it works !
Wonderful experience! The food are all tasty, and waitress is friendly, yogurt cocktail really refreshing, also recommand their whole squid and seafood udon noodle, all can't go wrong choices. $50 per person, good to mention each cocktail only $10, nice to go as a cute korean bar! Remeber to reserve in advance on their Instagram, cause their phone number doesn't seem to work, and Walk-in mostly will not have position.
Had a nice dinner with friends, the staff was friendly and helpful, and even took pictures for us. Food serving sizes were good for the price as well. Had a great time, thanks
