We had a gift card that my son gave us from Christmas 2020. We finally got out to use it with the pandemic and all. I have to say the food and experience was very good. 1st and foremost this place is very nice and welcoming. As soon as s you walk in they are so friendly. The hostess sat us right away. Our waitress was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of all the specials and answered all our questions as this was our 1st time here. I ordered the Asian chicken wings that were a special and my wife ordered French Onion Soup for starters. We then decided on Mahi Mahi fie my wife and Bourbon Steak Tips for myself. Both entrees were out of this world delicious. Barely had room for dessert but ordered the banana cake. I have to say everything was perfect from beginning to end. We will definitely be back to enjoy another great meal and atmosphere.
Great stop on our trip. The food was hot and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was cozy with a fire in the fireplace, lights and holiday trees. Service was spot on and timely. We would absolutely visit again.Food: 5/5

The delicious food was enjoyed in an elegantly decorated Christmas ambiance. My wife and I came to eat here after experiencing the Illumination Festival Highly Recommend. Gallifords’ is conveniently located on the Zoo grounds. The owner did a phenomenal job with adding a beautiful, delicious and spacious restaurant on the zoo grounds. It makes for a perfect date or family outing! ATMOSPHERE: The environment was clean, elegant and had an open concept which are all major pluses in my book. On top of the already gorgeous foundation, they had such classy Christmas décor throughout. It really made for a wonderful holiday experience. We sat next to the windows overlooking the zoo. This area was separated just enough from the main seating area that made it feel more intimate. FOOD: We started our meal with the Firecracker Shrimp and Calamari. We both highly recommend the shrimp. The sauce mixed very well with the arugula that was included on the dish. The calamari wasn’t the best I’ve had but it met expectations. For our meals, my wife got a classic grilled chicken Caesar Salad with fries while I got the Buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with fries and a side garden salad. We were both very pleased with our dishes. STAFF: Our waitress Brynn took name from receipt as we forgot to ask for it was awesome. She was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the establishment and the course offerings. She gave my wife the lowdown of what was popular and shared with us a bit about the history of the restaurant. She was timely and respectful.
Met up with my cousins and aunt and uncle for breakfast with Santa. It was great! The server was so attentive and friendly. The food was really good too- lots to choose from! My son is autistic, and I was a little anxious about how he would be at a buffet, but everyone was really patient and understanding. He was absolutely smitten by Santa. It made him so happy!! Everything was great! I’m looking forward to next year!
Came for the first time for a birthday and had a very enjoyable time! The interior is very nice and clean with great views of the zoo. Our server was super attentive and friendly, and the food and drinks came out pretty quickly. The food is very good, however only negative is that the food could have been a little hotter. Otherwise, we all had a fun time!
The food was really good. Unexpectedly the clam chowder was excellent! I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was super good too. Wheelchair accessibility: Has an elevator to bring people from the downstairs to the upstairs.
Ordered 2 chicken and arugula pizzas with balsamic drizzle. As you can see i have enough arugula to make a seperate salad, NON EXISTANT drizzle and chicken was dry and hard. The second pizza had 2 pieces that were black half way up.. very disappointing
Came here after a day at the Zoo with Family & Friends. Let me tell you, I would drive to Mendon again just to eat at Galliford's again. Food was delicious, and the Service was excellent! Please forgive me, I forge the gentleman's name who took care of us that day, but he was very good. We enjoyed the Shrimp Scampi, Honey Butter Salmon, and I had the Chicken Como, and their Butterfried chicken sandwich. When you pair your chicken breast with prosciutto, mozzarella and tortellini, you got me!! And that thing was Delicious!! The Como that is. Make it a point to stop here if in Mendon, you will not be disappointed
The delicious food and the excellent attention, super fast in the orders, without a doubt the best Shrimp Scampi that I have tasted, the Red Wine Sangria was delicious but nothing extraordinary, I would say that it lacked a little more flavor, I do not give it all the qualification because the air was not even felt and after a long walk in the Zoo and very high temperatures it is very discouraging not to find an establishment with good air conditioning.
First time eating dinner at this lovely, family-friendly restaurant. The food was great and I would definitely order again I had the bourbon steak tips. I gave the food 4-stars since my steak was hot, but the mashed potatoes and green beans were cold. What a great location to eat after enjoying the Southwick Zoo Light Festival, in which you still have the view of the lights from the restaurant's windows. Very memorable experience overall. Customer service from the hostess to the waitress was great, too. Can't complain.
