Story

Galerie Alan Klinkhoff is an evolution of Galerie Walter Klinkhoff, founded in 1950 by Walter (deceased in 1997) and Gertrude Klinkhoff. Galerie Alan Klinkhoff Inc. is a private commercial art gallery located in Montreal, Canada. We specialize in the purchase and sale of fine artwork by important Canadian artists, including 19th and early 20th century artists, the Canadian Impressionists, Tom Thomson and the Group of Seven, contemporaries of the Group of Seven and independents, members of the Beaver Hall Hill Group, the Canadian Group of Painters, the Contemporary Arts Society, Painters Eleven, Les Automatistes, Primitive Quebec Artists, other important artists of the post-War period. Galerie Alan Klinkhoff also specializes in works by investment quality Contemporary Artists. In addition, we have a lengthy tradition in the sale of artwork by a selection important European artists. Today Alan, Jonathan and Craig Klinkhoff handle the day-to-day affairs of the Gallery.
