Last week I received the best service of any time at Cineplex. From welcoming and friendly to knowledgeable, Ella did a wonderful job making this a special experience. She asked all the right questions and I felt like she really cared that I had a great time. You have an excellent employee and I hope Cineplex knows that!
Getting very frustrated with waiting for the end credit scene and staff coming in turning on the lights and kicking us out before the final scene. Starting to become a waste of money to the point I'm going to start driving to Whitby to get my money worth
The place is run down. Dirty washroom. Not enough staff.nI see alot of good reviews but I think they have nothing to compare it to. Go watch a movie most other locations and you will see. Reclining seats etc.nWorth driving down to Bowmanville or Oshawa
So good to be back! So good to be out and doing what we always did! Being back after so long brings back so many memories, since it's opening way back 2000. I still remember my first movie here. 'The Perfect Storm'. Now this was way back when Lansdowne Place still had it's movie theater, and movies cost far less there. But the Galaxy was the new player in town with a monster venue, that everyone wanted to check out.nnSome changes over the years inside with the layout of the main lobby, as well as additions such as the Ultra AVX theather, and restaurant changes. But it still has a bit of that same feel when you came the very first time.nnOnly dissapointment is, the arcade is a shadow of it's former self. Back in the day it was a true arcade with lot's of fun and varied games, and overall just a great hangout spot on it's own.nNow it's mostly just chance/midway style games. That give you a chance at winning a prize instead of a fun gaming expirience.nnMore and more are coming back to the theater. So it's promising to see the place will hopefully, and eventually one day get back to the way it was.
My husband and I used to love going to the movies but Galaxy rarely features Oscar contenders anymore, only horrors and movies for children. These genres have taken the joy out of watching a good movie on the big screen.
