I recommend not getting extra butter on your popcorn- a waste of money as I asked for it to be layered with extra butter and hardly any butter was on my large popcorn. Very disappointed paying all that money for a sprinkle of butter. Not ever going back. There are other theaters that offer better service.
Busy on Tuesdays - this theatre still has a Tuesday special. Also busier on rainy cottage days. Smallish theatre with older seats that were a bit snug and uncomfortable. Nice staff and attentiveness to washrooms. Overall seems well managed.
I had 4 teenagers with me. We were 3 minutes late. Doors understandably locked. Lexi M. To the rescue. She let all 4 of my girls in and got them popcorn and drinks. Saved the day! Thank you for your above and beyond service!
There is ample parking but you'd never know it as there are no signs indicating that you need to sneak around to the back. Way overly packed at the concession counter, and the only way the lines could ever move that slowly is if multiple employees had no idea what was going on. Hard to blame them individually, but still annoying as a customer. It did seem though, that one or two employees were solely responsible for all progress that was eventually made. The digital kiosk was fast and easy to order the tickets. Touch screen was outdated and unresponsive but I pushed through. Prices for popcorn which is literally just heated up pieces of kernels and other snacks was ridiculously expensive, but I suppose that's to be expected at a movie theatre in our country. The space is really small, especially for how busy it was and how slow the lines were moving. Kids running around while in a cramped space unable to move made everyone feel claustrophobic. Unrelated to any part of this review, we ended up walking out of the movie due to personal preference. We are dumb and didn't know what the movie was before going in. When I left, I asked to get a refund as only like 20 mins had passed, and the nervous young lad got his manager for me. She was a delight and gave me a refund with no issue at all. If this review was just about her I'd give 5 stars. In summary, marvel movies suck.
We traveled to Midland for a visit and decided a catch a movie. We are glad we did. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
Picture and sound was amazing..very friendly and helpful staff...i really enjoyed the movie..
Great clean theatres with friendly efficient staff and really like that they volume in movies isn't too loud like some other cineplexs. Don't like how Cineplex charges a surcharge for tickets bought online, that makes no sense and makes the app less appealing.
Theatre had an funny smell But the sound quality and video quality were good. Seating is pretty typical size/comfort for a cineplex this size. No complaints about the staff.
It's nice to be back to the theaters. People should support better this places now that we can finally go.
The staff here went above and beyond for me when I forgot my phone with my prebooked tickets on it. Place is always clean and so much fun! A shout out to the staff that helped us out. The manager, a gentleman with blond hair Sorry I didn't get names and the lady at the entrance with pink hair. Thank you for making our night out enjoyable.
