Extremely careless staff. Often times the diabetic nurse would act like they know better and more than the doctor herself. The nurses were very rude and arrogant as well. The dieticians are not considered of cultural diversity and tries to enforce western diet. However, the new dietician was much more mindful of cultural differences. For a majority of my time, the endocrinologist was treating me based on a wrong diagnosis and my parents had to force her to re-evaluate. The diabetic nurse was so arrogant that he could not even spell my name correctly after being their patient for over 5 years. Overall, would not recommend at all.
In my 10 years at this clinic, I write a yearly review based my experience with Galaxy 12. The review is always removed, as is most of the 1star reviews. If you care about your family’s mental health and the health and safety of your child, run from this place. If you are a single parent, you will be mistreated. If you are poor, even worse. The amount of abuse you will endure will have you losing sleep at night, sick to your stomach and living in fear with every visit. Ask your doctor to consider referring you to another clinic and if you can not, do yourself a favour and shop for a legal representative. Get yourself familiar with the complaint process of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, The College of Dietitians of Ontario, the College of Nurses of Ontario and Patient Ombudsman of Ontario.
Very rude secretary . Absolutely no sense of politeness or decency in talking to any parent. The large lady at 8.30am shift on Saturday is a misfit. Have been to other children clinic which are much better administration staff. Nurse and paediatrician are really good and friendly. Would recommend them in a heartbeat.
And at least two appointments made that we’re said to not be actually booked in their system by the time we got there. The doctor did however accommodate within her busy schedule the once. Aside from that getting someone to call you back or answer the phone is general can b a full time job alone
Great BUSY place! Dr Tulloch, Dr Danayan are excellent and the staff we met were friendly. All covered under OHIP wow! Even had a high school coop student there. So glad I was able to get my teenage daughter in here. Very supportive.
If I could give a negative rating I would, If your Childs health is important to you steer clear. Worst treatment I have ever experienced by a health care provider.
The doctors and nurses are very nice ,highly recommend.
We've seen Dr. Durno twice, second visit we waiting an hour after our appointment, which is frustrating in itself. Each visit was approx. 4 min. long each. She does not LISTEN - very dismissive, not happy at all.
Dr. Durno is absolutely amazing. She was attentive, caring and really patient and gentle with my son. I highly recommend her.
