What wonderful artistry! Québec is indeed famous for the artistic buildings, and this one is a true modern work of art.nnYou'll discover different designs on each floor, and there are surprises around every corner. Even if you're not looking to borrow books to read, it's certainly worth the visit!
My favorite library!! All in French language, no English. Clean and quiet, full of art, history, culture, music, film, comics, sciences. comfortable environment, great for teens, kids, toddlers, ground floor dining area bring your own cold food.
There is a serious problem with homeless and or drug users making an encampment literally outside the doors. It's constantly smokey and filthy at the entrance, making it unpleasant to just enter the building.nnBathrooms are often in a very bad state. They need better management.nnMany patrons and even the staff themselves seem to have absolutely no regard for other people trying to concentrate, be it reading or working, having normal or even loud conversations, with no thought given to how their behaviour affects others.nnThe homeless/drug using problem outside is the same as the previous iteration of the library, no change there sadly.nnThe loud, rude staff members and patrons seems to be exacerbated by the design of this new interior, with no sound dampening measures in place.nnManagement, sort your staff out.
Amazing library for all ages, even for kids!
Aint bad but call me nostalgic i kinda miss the old version
