I got the shredded chicken sub "spicy momma style". It's loaded with meat and made just the way I like it. This place will customized your sandwich/sub/salad for you.. how could you go wrong. And seriously, if your face isn't messy after eating a sandwich.. are you really eating one at all?

First time I walked in and couldn't decide what I wanted. The place smells heavenly and the menu options look fantastic. Since I'm not from the area and from the East coast, I decided to try the Brooklyn with chicken and the Queens with corned beef. WOW!!!! Yes! I devoured both. How? I have no idea. All I know is that I was lost in the amazing flavors of both sandwiches that I didn't want it to end. Abe suggested both these sandwiches as I was so confused and his suggestions hit the right spot. I will most definitely come back here when in town to try out the rest of the menu. I'm pretty sure anything you order here will not disappoint. Thank you!
I just took my wife and daughter here for our first sandwiches. All I can say is the sandwich was really good!! The gravy wasn't the best but I wasn't there for the gravy. The prices are fair considering what you are getting. The palce is small but that is what makes it a typical Amherstburg trendy restaurant. The owner was very nice, we talked the entire time about anything and everything. I love the small town atmosphere. We will be back!

It is really nice to have a Great sandwich. I try to get there at least 1 a month. While all the sandwiches are good my favorite is the corn beef on rye with mustard and a pickle on the side. You also have to have chips with it.
The best sandwiches and panini’s I’ve ever had especially being from out of town. I had the Manhattan on a Brioche sub and a Smoke Meat Melt Panini with hot peppers. Both were amazing and full of flavor. If you want a great quality and quantity sandwich, I would highly recommend going to Gabriel and Izzy’s East Coast Deli :
Fantastic place. The owner really cares about the quality of the food and the satisfaction of the customer. He is moving into the old smashed Apple location on the main drag in Amherstburg which should help with parking and a place to sit. Look forward to eating there again soon. Sooooo good.
Meat is amazing!!!!! I get corned beef and it's always on point!!!! Bread is good and fresh. Can't go wrong eating any sandwich from Gabe n Izzy. Great food always!!!
