If you appreciate eating cultural food such as Turkish cuisine then this place is definitely a must visit! Turkish food are inspired by Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries and their food are absolutely exquisite. My first time dining here and I must admit how amazed I was with all the rich flavours of each food. From varieties of olive oil to different types of cheeses, bread, jam spread and some proteins. It is a halal food restaurant and they also serve beverages . Buffet deal is about 20% off. From 9:30am-3:00pm for only $17.99 all-you-can-eat brunch. Service is amazing and attentive. They tend to get very busy so I suggest to control and hold your patience . There are parking in the back and also on the street. If you never had Turkish food, be sure to also try their tasty Turkish tea and Turkish coffee.
They have live music, singer is amazing. Server was so friendly and helpful. We had a such a great time and food experience. They have all you can eat dinner for $30. Almost includes all their dishes. Absolutely recommended. I will visit again for sure.
A family friend recommended this place to us. It was quite empty when we arrived, but the place got busy around 8.30. We ordered lahmacun, iskender, adana kebab and ali nazik. Every single dish came out cold, which was disappointing. I also uncovered a piece of hair in iskender which completely ruined the experience. My whisky sour with the egg whites came without whiskey or the egg whites and only contained orange juice. For dessert we ordered kunefe with coffee and tea. Kunefe itself was amazing and i was lucky to have ordered tea as the turkish coffee came out cold... Aside from kunefe, the only other highlight of the night was live music - the singer sang beautifully and somewhat made us forget about the negative experience. The service wasn’t great either - they took our bottle of water away and never replaced it. They also didn’t wipe the table before bringing the dessert. Overall, the servers seemed overwhelmed and kind of forgot about us which is mostly because they were understaffed that night. All in all, I would only go back for live music and dessert.
Good AYE dinner, even though I would rather order from the menu for a Turkish food experience. Nice service!
I visited this place last week with my mom and had the most incredible experience that was filled with outstanding service, delicious drinks and SUPER generous food portions! We tried a variety of Turkish apps mostly dips and all were fantastic. We also tried the drinks - they looked gorgeous and tasted amazing the Blue Hawaiian was my favourite with good amounts of alcohol! As my main I got the Chicken Shish which was super massive - We ended up taking home 4 containers of leftovers since the portions were massive! This place has a nice and spacious atmosphere. I really enjoyed all the clocks from around the world that they have displayed on the wall. I can't wait to return :
Dinner experience was terrible. My family and I came here because we were under the impression that it was the same owner as the Turkish restaurant next door which is absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately we were very quickly proven wrong and should have ran out the second we came in contact with the first unqualified server. Frozen Costco appetizers, fries that were definitely from McDonald’s, and none of the waiters were competent. When we confronted one of the waiters about the fries, he said they were homemade and would bring us more so we can see, and he had the audacity to bring back potato wedges, not fries. We asked all 4 waiters that served us for a second round of one of the appetizers that was actually edible and none of them knew what we were talking about. After showing them a photo of it on google, we finally were able to get it almost an hour later as we were gathering our things to pay and leave, and of course the entire thing was frozen. While the actual dining experience was horrifying and a complete waste of money, it was the most that my family and I have laughed in a long time. The entire experience from the disgusting food to the incompetent staff was absolutely comical.
Fantastic Turkish cuisine! Excellent value and great portions! I wouldn't go anywhere else! Turkish food is unmatched and always the better kebab hands down! Service is also great. Love the entertainment on the weekends! This place is golden! A must go! They now offer Turkish breakfast! What a crazy month watering spread!
We had amazing Saturday night experience! Live music+realxing,beautiful ambiance +delicious food great portions, fast service . Whoever is looking for this Trio, they shouldn’t pass by this place. Because of our kids, we highly appreciate when we find this kind of family oriented restaurants; Live music was the big reason of our visit to G Lounge and I can’t express enough how we are impressed by Aygun’s performance tonight. She is positive, lovely lady with a delightful voice that makes you feel relaxed and enjoy from every second. Thank you for having our family tonight! We definitely will come back for another amazing night!
We went to have a dinner before a concert at Richmond Hill Centre for Performing Arts. And we were very happy with this decision. Cozy place, welcoming owner, delicious food, huge servings we shared one main course Beyti and one appetizer Ezme, and were so full! Great choice of cocktails as well. Would like to go back again especially when the live music is on.
A great place to have your romantic nights out. We loved the decoration in this place, staff are very friendly and foods are very delicious. The singer Aygun has an amazing voice and makes you love the place even more.
