I had tried calling FYI Doctors in Smithers for several weeks. So I called FYI in Burns Lake. Got the appointment set up, was able to come in a little earlier than anticipated and glad I got it all worked out, and hoping my prescription glasses come in sooner rather than later. Once I receive them, I'll keep you posted.
Really good staff, i went in to get new frames and they noticed my current glasses were broken and fixed them on the spot for me. Very helpful and friendly people who give awesome service!
Never had a problem here for an odd 10 years. Had glasses that didn’t fit my vision once and that was about it. Got it replaced for free of course. Friendly bunch.
No stars if I had a choice. Over the past months, too many screw ups from paperwork being incorrectly forwarded to another office to frames not as promised. Finally the last straw, booked an appt online, when the Dr was available according to their calendar, confirmed it it print , took time off work, special transport arrangements - got there on time and the Dr was not even scheduled to be in the office. Would I like to make another appointment? Absolutely not. Anywhere but FYI must be better than this.
The wait for glasses is ridiculous and customer service is terrible.
Sent my glasses back cause hurts my eyes, got glasses back weeks later still hurt my eyes, tired of explaining, will not shop at FYI in burns lake
