This is a neat little location. I feel it has a fair amount of seating. When I was there the wait time for food and drink was unreasonably long. And it wasn't busy. There was only me and a group of 4 dining in. I think it was good to experience a Japanese soufflé pancake. It felt like it was a bit too expensive. I feel like paying for syrup at a pancake house was a little weird. I haven't experienced that before. But even the amount I paid for was not enough for the size of my meal so it was a bit annoying. Black Sesame latte--did not enjoy at all. I think this place is worth a try!
Great quality food, and excellent service. I ordered a pancake and realized there was no chocolate sauce included after paying. I had requested to add the sauce and pay the additional fee and the worker said he would add it and not worry. Such a kind gesture!
I feel no shame in stopping here for a pancake after a Saturday morning run Simply because these are the best pancakes I've ever eaten. I will try their pancake burger next. Skip the coffee here.
No line up! They took time making the Soufflé pancake. This Japanese Soufflé pancake is one of the most difficult dessert to make. It is depending on the chef or person making it. We were so glad that the quality is so good and we rate it one of the best in town. The pancake is so fluffy and tasty.
Fuwa Fuwa is known for their fluffy pancakes but did you know they also offer mille feuille, cheesecakes AND brunch?! --- $. , , Crispy puff pastry with a light yet decadent pastry cream. This dessert is available in mango and strawberry. , , , , Perfect for those who want to enjoy pancakes but also prefer to start their day with something savoury. The yuzu salad dressing was absolutely phenomenal! My friends who hate eating vegetables devoured it in seconds! --- Note: Their Afternoon Box 1 roll cake, 2 macarons, 4 mini cupcakes, 2 scones, 2 drinks is only $32! Available for takeout and dine-in call a day ahead/check out their website
Recently visited here for the baked desserts: macaroons, cupcakes and cookies plus a tiramisu pancake. The pancake was great as always but the takeaway cream was extremely liquified at the bottom which is not how we normally have gotten this exact same thing from the fuwa fuwa locations in Mississauga. The baked goods were okay, the chocolate cupcake was not tasting so much like chocolate but more like the coffee macaroon. It was not too sweet for me which was a positive but not something we would order again. We are not sure but my partner feels like the size of the pancakes are getting smaller but the price we pay remains the same which is not fair. Unfortunately we do not measure them, but I think we have ordered enough to have a good idea about this.
Crossposted on IG brunch menu alert A friend of mine took me for some fuwafuwa time at the Eglinton and Younge location to try out their new brunch menu. Ordered the all day breakie and Pancake burgerdoesnt that sound good already, pancake burger with Salad and Tomato soup as appetizers, and finished with the Dorayakiin red bean waffle form and mango cheese cake. One bite into my pancake burger I'm sold. I love anything sweet and savory; the pancake wasn't overly sweet tho that it took over everything, it was just right, and fluffy still, paired with the juicy burger meat, it was just. No complain on the appetizers and desserts part either... anyone remember Doraemon? I wonder if he likes his dorayaki in waffle form, because I do Aaaaanyway, have you tried them out yet?
Ever heard of Japanese Pancakes? Me neither! They are from another planet! Super fluffy, deliciousness with a good variety of toppings to select from. Toppings range from Nutella, Tiramisu style, fruits, to Matcha. They got it all. Staff is super friendly and the place is cozy. Prices are around $15 for one order of pancakes, which is definitely enough for dessert.
So aesthetic and yummy. Good place to stop by for Japanese dessert and good place go hang out with friends and dates!!! So cute and not too sweet
The ambiance in the restaurant definitely leaves something to be desired, but my waffle was SO GOOD. Would return for sure with lower expectations for the overall dining experience.
