My fiancee and I see poke as our "guilty pleasures," but even then, the ingredients were such good quality that there's not much to be "guilty" about! My fiancee would have rated her meal 5/5, and the only reason I gave a 4/5 review is because they didn't have any salt to add to the meal besides the sodium present in soy sauce. I know I'm extra haha
This is the kind of place that I love calling "The old reliable". Food was amazing, and we had ordered: Ramen, Sushi, Korean Chicken, and boba tea. I had no conplaints about any of these! I feel like a little update to their interior would help a lot, but it's still a great place to eat and hangout with friends and family.
This was my first experience with Poke but not my last! Fresh, delicious and a huge portion! Also they make boba tea which was another first… so good! We had it with pineapple juice and the tapioca balls… seriously delicious!
Fine east side establishment. Always tasty dishes and prompt service. You get what you come here for. Clean and accessible. Definitely will stop through again.Food: 5/5
Great staff and wonderful food.. decor is a bit campus cafeteria, but considering the area and it's clean.. whatever. I'm still working through the menu, but everything I had so far is stand up good food. And for once the bubble tea is on point. Try it.. You'll like it... And don't let how much I spent scare you off, if that's a thing that's shown.. I eat. And didn't regret a penny..
The ramen is always tasty here. Love picking amongst their huge selection of drinks. The friendly staff is also welcoming.
Got delivery and everything came nicely packed. Great quality ingredients. Always afraid it will be loose and the food might get everywhere. Sauces were packed separately, so the food wasn't soaked by the time I got it which was nice. I think they even gave us some extra sauce! Everything was well flavored and I was really surprised by the quality of the ingredients - the avocado was perfectly ripe in the middle of winter. Will definitely order again. Probably don't need the large for one meal, it was a bit much but a medium/normal looked fine that's what my partner got!!
Ordered 12 piece chicken wings and received a dozen, incredibly small, cold wings. I ordered 3 dipping sauces and received 1 - all for $20.75. I also ordered a build your own poke bowl for my partner that was missing a few ingredients from the order. This order was, unfortunately, an incredible waste of money. $50 for an empty stomach and disappointment.
Everytime I order poke for carry out here it's VERY good, but I ordered ramen and a couple other things for delivery and it didn't go well. The ramen broth spilled all over everything I ordered, including my churros I would advise better packing for delivery orders. It's quite expensive to be disappointed like this.
Okay experience over all. You can’t go in the actual restaurant because of covid but you order from a small window just inside the main door. We ordered two poke bowls and they were made in about five minutes or so. They were good, but not great. The items are not cut up very well and are left rather large. Also, I got chicken and shrimp for my protein option on mine and I only got 2 shrimp, and they still had their tails on. The items are not mixed together very well, but that’s common for poke bowls. So over all, the bowls were tasty, but could have been better. I would recommend Aloha Poke in the third ward over this place.
