To Chef and proprietor Giuseppi Pelligra "authentic" means no oil and vinegar with your bread. Instead, Giuseppi offers a special secret spread, containing a myriad of vegetables to open your papate and whet your appetite

The owner is the most welcoming and charming host! He made me the most delicious cappuccino and I bought the organic olive oil that they use in house for my own pantry. The decor is rustic and warm, I felt transported to Sicily. A gem of the east end! Definitely going to be coming back. A presto!
I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I have to say their service is always excellent and they keep the spot neat regularly. Pricing is affordable and they serve big portions.
Friendly service, great food and serving size. And the ambience looks lovely - looking forward to dining in once COVID is over. Really great to have this restaurant in the neighbourhood.

Cute and cozy little spot along Queen East. We were lucky to get the tiny table for two at the front on a perfect late summer night as the sun set. The service was extremely friendly. Great wine, great food, great dessert we had the chocolate mousse cake and it was incredible. Highly recommend : We will be back!
