We had the crab croquette and boar belly appetizers which were both delicious. The beers available and cocktails were fabulous. Our mains, the scallops and fish tacos were perfect. And the cheesecake for dessert was amazing. Great service and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!
We happened across Fume a couple of Sundays ago, during the Holmdale art crawl. They had samplings of their small plates to try; they were so tasty and the atmosphere was so inviting we decided to stay for wine it was 11:30 am, after all. We enjoyed it so much that we made reservations for dinner for the following this past Friday. The food here is SO. DELICIOUS. The presentation was a work of art. The wine paired perfectly. The service is impeccable although I am sorry to say I don't recall our server's name. We had the same server both times and I appreciated her vibe: authentic and professional.
Food was amazing, great flavour, good music playing in the background. Liked the selection of cocktails offered. Only reason in giving it 4 stars for the food instead of 5 is because of the swordfish on the seafood plater my wife ordered. She felt like the swordfish looked and tasted a little raw on the inside. But she loved the flavor of everything else. Expect to pay a little more for everything here but it is definitely worth it.

So, no one took any photos… probably the most photogenic food I’ve seen in a very long while, and no one took any photos. Came here for an anniversary date night with my husband and the food was delicious! I tried the duck and he had the fish special. I think prices are fair for the quality of food and the service was great.Food: 5/5
Well the food was generally fine. The service was great. We sat outside but the interior was good too. Why 2 stars then? Well, the tuna tartar was rotten. Too bad our friend didn’t notice and got poisoned. We shared the plates and my wife and I immediately noticed the fish was bad, but it was too late as our friend ate too much of it by then. If not than incident I’d say the place is 3.5-4 stars - generally overpriced for the quality of food being served. By no means it’s a 5 star place maybe just yet .
If I could give this restaurant a 10 I would. First time there and went for our annual Christmas lunch. The service and attentiveness by Alice was amazing and the food we ordered was so delicious. Very difficult to choose what to order. Prices are well with in line of other restaurants. It is a small, cozy restaurant. Even though you may not think to make reservations you just never know. Will definitely be going to this restaurant again.
Undoubtedly Brantford's finest upscale restaurant at the moment. Big city quality in the Dufferin area of Brantford. Fume has Amazing dishes from a diverse menu. Stylish decore and upbeat service. The deconstructed beet salad can't be beat lol, and the scallop special entree with risotto was out of this world. The wine list is limited but very well thought out. Fume is Highly recommended. Parking: Parking is limited but there's plenty on the street.
Stop browsing and go to this restaurant! My wife and I went to Fume on a date night and it was incredible! We ordered a few different food items for dinner beet salad, Fume burger, truffle fries all absolutely delicious! We also had a sinfully good Grand Marnier creme brulee for dessert...just wow! You can really tell whoever handles the menu/cooking REALLY knows their stuff. The service was as spectacular as the food. Our server was Megan and she was very knowledgeable about the menu and had such a fun loving personality, she really completed what was a fantastic dining experience. We will definitely be going back to Fume!
