this evening, this little waitress was alone despite the number of tables there were. there was a customer who had a crisis in the restaurant that evening.. I felt bad for this waitress who was doing her best keep up the good work you are very hardworking! Hiring more people would be perfect her service was excellent she manages in curse! I hope it will be taken in great restaurants
More photo has been added. Still love this place to eat even i go every month. It been 1 year i go at this restaurant. I can tell i do eat sushi a lot here, even one of my favorite place in drummondville. Since i lived in Trois-Rivières, The only sushi i liked the most was Hana Sushi & Sushi shop~~ One of the best meat is the beef, you can't miss it. The beef is so tender that it melts everytime you take a bite. It's so good omg. Also sashimi is the best, i take everything in the menu. No question asked. 5 stars for the food and the creation they made for sushi~~ No one can resist the love for sushi.
Price was reasonable for an all you can eat. However all the dishes we tried 17 or so were absolutely delicious. Any of the fried foods weren’t overly heavy- but actually felt and tasted like traditional tempura. The soups - I would stick with Miso. The wonton soup was the only thing we tried on the menu that wasn’t anything special. The salads- an avocado salad with a delicious sesame vinaigrette. Or the seaweed salad which had a stronger flavour and also scrumptious. We tried coconut shrimp and tempura shrimp. Both were well done. Imperial rolls, dumplings both had distinct flavours. We also tried the BBQed chicken, shrimp, and beef. The beef was our favourite but they were all good. And salmon sashimi. Awesome. Masago sushi , and a few rolls. For desert we tried the fried banana, pineapple and ice cream. The fried pineapple was something special that I’ve never seen before. All in all, all of the dishes had good and unique flavours. It isn’t an all you can est where everything tastes the same. The only thing that could be improved on is perhaps the service - not the people. But there were about 19 tables when we were ending our meal with 2 cooks and 1 server. I’m not sure if this is how it is all the time but the service got longer as more tables showed up. Wasn’t a huge deal for us since we got there at opening but it might be for others. Well done and thank you for a good dining experience. In Drummondville of all places. We were pleasantly surprised :
They really took the time to serve me the right way. Even offered after pulling out my Laptop the WiFi code. The food was good but the tuna roll did not feel that great. But everything else was super.
Great sushi, endless varieties and friendly owner! My go-to sushi spot :
Lot of varieties of the menu and the food is good but they ask to pay first before order on the all you can eat menu and the service is slow. We also order many things on the menu and we never received it and sometime we received 2 times the dish that we order only one time.
2022 EDIT: Returned to Fujiyama after a while to see if my old review was still accurate. Fortunately, I had a pleasant experience during a full restaurant on a saturday evening at 17:00. The food was tasteful, the employees were reactive and it was relatively fast delivered to our table! I saw that they changed the management and it clearly shows. The portions can vary day to day but would definetly recommend. 2020: Had a bad experience.
Truly terrible, in just about every way! It should be called "Eat what you can" rather than "All you can eat"!...first simply because they don't get around to serving any food for about 45 minutes... Then, what they do serve is absolutely tasteless...especially because they neglect to offer ginger or wasabi until asked, or they forget..as the did with the drinks...even though they came by the table 7 times unnecessarily to offer more water...probably to make the excessive amount of rice in your sushi swell. The final laugh was them suddenly tripping over each other to bring g out the rest of the forgotten main course items AFTER dessert had been served! Christ on a Cross.Yes, absolutely terrible
Great concept, tasty food! Bring your own wine is also great. Careful with the wait times during weekends and busy nights. However an untypical dinner Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday night is great!
Other customers were too loud and no warning about their fried ice cream taking half an hour to prepare. Food was good but method of ordering is lacking and could easily be made better.
