This is a beautiful place with great service. I really enjoyed my lunch date today. The food was just ok. I had been craving sushi for a long time and was so excited to be able to go. We walked in and were seated right away. I thought the ambiance was fantastic! The waitress was very attentive and brought our drinks and salad right away. I ordered the three roll lunch special and my friend got the chicken hibachi plate. We split each plate and had a lot leftover. So the portions were generous. There was way too much dressing on the salad, but that could have been our fault because my friend mentioned how much she loved it. The sushi came in a nice presentation. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed in the spicy tuna roll. It was bland and the texture was off. The shrimp tempura roll tasted alright, not great. The fried California roll was my favorite part of the meal. The texture was perfect, but again kinda bland. The chicken hibachi plate was eh. My friend was super excited about ordering the fried rice but said it was not as good as she remembers from the hibachi grill side of the restaurant. Maybe they make it fresh over there and put in more egg and veggies? The chicken plate was bland and got cold fast, so I didn't eat but a couple bites of mine. Overall, it was good. We spent about $20 each including tip, which felt reasonable. I will be more careful in the future on what I order, or just lower my expectations. I didn't see any specialty rolls that I normally prefer on the menu. I definitely would go again and recommend it based on our overall pleasant experience. I'll probably try to sit in the hibachi room and see if the food is better over there.
This is a fun place. We like to go sit and watch the teppanyaki chefs cook and entertain us. In my opinion lunch is the best value. It is quite a bit cheaper and just a slightly smaller portion. I really like the avocado salad and the hibachi chicken.
The menu is overwhelming if you're new! My first visit was great though! We sat on the Hibachi side, our Chef was a hoot, our waitress was very sweet, and our grub was amazing! The yum-yum sauce is worth putting on EVERYTHING. The drinks were great, and the food was cooked to perfection. The Hibachi side wasn't extremely busy when we went which was nice. And made it so we sat right down. I'd recommend this place to others for sure!
Fuji Sushi & Hibachi is a hit. First time here and enjoyed dinner very much. Great sushi options! The presentation was fantastic and the service was super friendly.
This restaurant was so much fun. Our chef was very entertaining, and the food was delicious! The Rum Runner cocktail comes out on fire, so it was fun to order and it is so good!. Inside the restaurant is understandably a bit loud, so its not so easy to talk if you're with a group. It is a little more on the expensive side, however you receive a lot for your money. Would definitely recommend!!
This location is in Idaho Falls Ammon area. The food was out really quick. For a nicer restaurant in the area I expected it to take longer but in all honesty it was a wonderful experience. The food was great and the staff was excellent. Some of the tables and seating was old but I had a comfortable time. There are vegetarian and gluten free options. Really good filet mignon. Vegetarian options: They have lots of options for vegetarians. Kid-friendliness: It's a good place to bring the whole family. Parking: Plenty of parking spots. Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options.
What’s the difference between Fuji and heaven? Honestly, I couldn’t tell tell you. Every bite of the delicious Hibachi is a transformative and illuminating experience, a spiritual awakening if you will. Your eyes are opened, and you are in a new and unfamiliar dimension, but one that fills you with bliss nonetheless. The only caution I would leave is the deliciousness of the food is not victimless; in ended one of my most treasured relationships. I brought my girlfriend here, and after her meal she adamantly refused to leave the restaurant. Despite my futile pleas and generous financial incentives, she refused to leave the restaurant; I was left with no choice but to leave her there. I have not seen her since. Pros: Delicious food, spiritual awakening Cons: Lost my girlfriend
I've been here twice now and the food is excellent! I've never had fried rice that amazing, ever! I loved the sushi and soft shell crab! The first time I came here was for a company Christmas party. We had a group of 15 and everyone's order was taken all together. I assumed we'd all be severed at the same time. Nope. We didn't quite have enough people to fill every seat so they waited until more people could fill the empty seats. After we had already waited for over an hour, the chef for half of the came out and started cooking but the other chef didn't come for atleast another 15 minutes. I have food allergies and the first thing I did upon ordering was inform the staff of my allergies. They said my food would have to be cooked in the kitchen. That was completely fine because I still got to watch everyone else's meal being cooked and I really don't like having an allergic reaction. My food was brought out about the same time as everyone else was served and all seemed well. As we are leaving I realise I dont feel well. Sure enough I was having an allergic reaction, not a severe one but no allergic reaction is fun. I definitely will not eat habachi here again. Tonight I decided to give there sushi a try. I ordered online and made sure to list my allergies is the comments section but had allergies meds on hand just to be safe. My sushi was amazing! I also had the soft shell crab as an appetizer. It was good but soggy from the layer of lettuce they put it on. I also ordered a strawberry marble soda. I was given watermelon and my receipt said water melon. Not too big of a deal but kinda strange. Here is my biggest complaint. The parking. Both times I've been here this has been a huge issue. I drive a ram and in a normal parking lot, it's hard to park. In this parking lot it is close to impossible. I can not park anywhere without folding my mirrors before trying to pull into a space. 99% of spaces I won't even try because they are so tight. Tonight the 3 to-go spaces we full and I literally circled this massive parking lot looking for any space I might be able to fit into for 20 minutes. I do understand this is a Saturday night and there are 6+ restaurants and a movie theater that all share this parking lot. However when it is easier for trucks to park on the sidewalk in the middle of the parking lot, there is a problem. And maybe remove the snow from the property instead of making 2 massive piles on both sides of that sidewalk. When the to-go parking finally opened up I parked and went and got my food. I spent maybe a full minute getting my food. I was pretty annoyed. Overall, the food is excellent. The habachi is not allergy friendly. Picks will have a harder time parking and good luck finding a space. I would come back to have sushi again, if I could ever find a parking space.
This place is amazing!!! Everything was perfect! Staff, food, environment, cleanliness, service...... all top notch!!! I would recommend the Burning Man Sushi roll with the tempura vegies appetizer!! The miso soup is delicious. And you can't go wrong with the Bento Boxes! It's a little pricey but well worth it!! Highly, highly recommend if you enjoy Japanese cuisine!!! 10 out of 5 stars for me!! Vegetarian options: I did notice several vegetarian options from soup to sushi rolls and salads. They also had a whole page of gluten free options on the menu!!
The food was incredible and the service was quick and efficient! We’re definitely coming back, but with friends!
