Great prices on select produce. You won't find the full range of produce that you'd find at a larger chain grocer, but pretty much anything used in South Asian cuisine will be available. They have great prices on yellow and red onions, cauliflower, bell peppers, and more. They have a wide selection of spices, rice, lentils, etc, also very affordable. The staff are always friendly.
Gamechanger for New Westminster!! Typical fruticana so it has everything minus some specialty items!! They just opened Sep 2nd 2021.nBack entrance: check, including checkstand at the back entrance.nAmple parking: check, includes 8-9 car parking at the back. See photos.nStock: really good.nCleanliness: check. It's new so everything looks great.nPrices: affordable. Forget buying peppers from Safeway and Walmart. Prices here are much much better.nStaff is polite.nnBig thank you to the staff and owners for taking the initiative and brining one of these to New Westminster.
Prices according to the other stores however, I’d rather buy from save-on-foods, Walmart etc. who has price guarantee policy. Fruiticana changes their prices a lot, yesterday I bought peppers which today are half price of what I paid.
Fruiticana is my go-to place for produce shopping in this area. They offer a wide range of products from different cuisines and cultures, and everything is fresh and delicious.nnThe prices are unbeatable, and the service is not bad either. I always seem to find something new and interesting to try at Fruiticana at great prices.nnThey have a free small parking lot in the back.
I was driving by when I saw this store- so parked & just poked my head in there… so happy that the store have everything I need & some great prices too. I found my South Indian Dosa. It turned out amazing with my veal & masala potato dosa. The fruits & vegetables were fresh. I’m giving a five as it had all the items… the staff was busy unloading tonnes of stuff but did chat with me. They told me next to them had meat stuff available- marinated meat fish were awesome. As a New West resident - I’m supporting them.
