I had a really nice experience here. The owners were very kind, and the fried rice was the best I ever tasted.
As many other reviews have stated this food is incredibly authentic and very delicious. I've eaten Indian and Nepalese food in many different places across the country including major cities and this is on par or beating the very best. Owner is incredibly nice and service is excellent. If you're in the area don't let the small building fool you. This is some of the very best food in the area.
Best Indian/Nepali food I’ve had in a long time and definitely the best I’ve had in Vermont. We had the chicken momos, veggie chow mein, Aloo Tikki Chaat, and Paneer curry. Everything was fresh and delicious. Generous portions. The aloo tikki chaat was particularly delicious with spiced yogurt and fried potato bits, creamy chick peas-mmmmm. The rice was fluffy and lightly spiced with cardamom. We ate there and it was lovely, looks like they are doing a lot of takeout too. The family running the place are very friendly, we had great service. Go! What a treat!
Our takeout dinner was absolutely delicious! The best chicken tikka masala and lamb korma we’ve ever had. We will definitely be regular customers at this neighborhood gem!
Friends Nepali Restaurant in Winooski is INCREDIBLE. Something about their use of spices, their preparation technique - food you've tried many times before will taste completely different and amazing! I bought some for my family for the first time last night and they all agreed that it was the best Indian food they've ever had! They serve Indian, Nepalese, and some Chinese dishes And for $80 four people ate until they were full and had leftovers!! My favorites are the saag paneer, chow mein, and you have to get the fried dumplings. But I don't think you could go wrong!

Hands down, one of the best Indian restaurants in town!! Portion and price balance each other out. Spices and meat cooked perfectly!
Not sure what how this food is made so perfect but keep it up! Ate here 2 times and it has been the most fresh and flavorfull food. Great people too. Thanks for making fresh healthy food for Vermont.
Wow.. The food is amazing and the portions are huge. It was completely worth the hour drive. Medium spice level was perfect. It burns a bit but doesn't overpower. I will be coming back for sure.
