Great supermarket. Big and clean. Lots of different frozen foods, snacks and ramens. No hot food counter. There is a bakery section and k-beauty stuff. They accept visa and bring your own bags!
Large chinese supermarket located at First Markham Place. Even though the parking lot is relatively large, it is packed at busy times and finding a parking spot wastes too much time, so I rarely come here. Supermarket is clean and food is fresh, but on the pricey side compared to other Chinese supermarkets. Winco is located across the street with cheaper prices, and it's much easier to find a parking spot. I've heard that if you work here, cooked meals are provided .
This is undeniably my top choice when it comes to Asian supermarkets in the area. The variety of products available is impressive, and I always find exactly what I need for my Asian cooking adventures.nnOne standout feature is that it is the only Chinese grocery store I know of that accepts American Express cards, which is incredibly convenient for those who prefer to use that payment method.
Coming from America, FreshWay Foodmart is so much better than our H-Mart Asian grocery store, everything seem so much cleaner, fresher and priced very reasonable. Specially the butcher, seafood section. Even the soybean drinks section have so many options
Freshwater FoodMart is a big Chinese supermarket in Markham, Ontario. This place is beside First Markham Place and is spacious, bright and clean. Most of the fresh produce are wrapped neatly. They have everything from produce, dairy products, seafood, poultry, variety of Asian packaged noodles, Asian snacks toJapanese and Korean mochi, etc. Prices are slightly higher here. No hot food available but there are lot of restaurants around and in the same shopping mall.
