FreshCo Steeles & Bathurst is honestly one of the best grocery stores in the area. The prices are great, the store is clean, and it’s easy to find everything you need. What really stands out is how well they cater to the local community. They have two or even three full aisles of kosher products, including a very solid selection of kosher wines, which makes shopping so much more convenient.nnThe staff is helpful, the shelves are well stocked, and checkout is usually quick. Overall, it’s a reliable, affordable and community-friendly grocery store. Highly recommended!
Went in today with a coupon that clearly said it was valid for ANY Mina product. No restrictions on weight or price. Picked up a large package of chicken breasts. When trying to checkout ended up waiting 30 minutes for 5 different employees to try to “verify” the coupon to eventually be told that it’s only for the small packages. Based on what? ‍
Great place. Parking has become a challenge, as the area is busy. It would be nice and more convenient if they added a self checkout.nPerhaps theft maybe an issue for the store not doing so, as they have full time security in the store.
I like this Freshco as its close by my house. They have pretty much anything you might need. Its usually easy to find the items and staff are always helpful.nnThey usually stock up pretty much back to back and its usually clean. There is free parking lot which makes it a positive point.nnThey also have fresh meat and sea food items, they offer halal and kosher options both, as well. There is enough cash and wait time pretty reasonable.
Great grocery store with a wide variety of products and price matching. The staff are respectful and helpful. I was especially impressed by Ayda, a well-behaving and patient cashier who speaks English, Turkish, French, and Persian—such a wonderful surprise! Way to go, team.
