One of the best food trucks out there! Lots of parking and picnic tables! Awesome prices and amazing food! Only downside is the gas station worker there is rude and won't allow you to use the bathroom.
On one side of the Petro Canada gas station property along Highway 15 sets one of the hidden gems of Kingston. Fresh Fast Fries II sells freshly fried fish and chips, poutine, burgers and hotdogs for reasonable prices. We ordered a hot dog which was made quickly. They have lots of condiments on a counter in front of the truck. We would have ordered fries but were still full from a late lunch. Plenty of picnic tables are set up beside the food truck. If you’re lucky you can watch the trains passing by near the property as you order or enjoy your food on site. There’s also plenty of parking. The people parked next to us were from Pennsylvania. Word travels far!
One of Kingston's best/worst kept secret food trucks. Great prices, great food. A hidden gem for travellers and a local favourite foodie spot.
By far one of the best poutines in Kingston! Poutine is on point with crispy fries and yummy cheese curd. Hotdogs are good too! Only downside is they don’t sell drinks so you have to go inside the gas station and their cash only.
Great deal on the lunch special, burger is REAL, not a cheap patty and Very generous portion of fries. Will be returning and trying their platter of fries, rings, chicken nuggets, mozzarella sticks and mushroom caps. Didn't see drinks, but didn't ask. Convenience store next door but pricey for drinks.
The lady running the truck was very nice even while swamped on Saturday. Plenty of space to pull on with a semi, I did. Will definitely stop again.
Our traditional first stop when transitioning from the 401 to the 15 on the way to Smith's Falls. We always take a photo in front of the Smiley Face at the beginning of each Summer. Always a friendly welcoming sight to see the Smiley Face and rest up at the outdoor picnic table. Consistently good food, really nice and hardworking people. Always get large portion of fries and hit it up with spray bottle vinegar and California seasoning. Sometimes I get a Pogo.
Tried this chip truck for the first time today and I will definitely be back! The jumbo hotdogs were really tasty and were on nice quality buns! The French Fry portions were generous and the fries were crispy and they had a decent seasoning salt you could add! It's cash only but there is an ATM at the gas station if you forget cash.
Really great food for a great price. The large size is a big portion so would be good to split with 2-4 people. The staff is very friendly! This is definitely a stop you should make if you are in the area
So much food for a good price! A real treat for a day out.
