Unable to fix brake vibrations. Charge 150-200$ for test drive this is the only garage that has charged me for this Edit : This would be my 4th warranty claim for the same brake problem - i drive less than 10km per year and mostly highway. I am not setting foot again in this impossible to park garage unless it is to get refund for the hundreds if not thousands i have spent for a problem that still exists
I have been going there for over 10 years, with three different cars. They have always been honest and helpful. On one ocasion they even told me to go to the dealership since the guarantee still applied to the reparations I was requiring, saving me money. So it shows that they care about their customers.Services: Engine repair
I had a good experience with my tire change. Even tho it's not the most difficult job, gotta give it to them, they have been fast, honest, reliable and courteous, thank you. I'll come back.
Went to change my winter tires. After waiting 30 minutes they told me they don’t change new tires that they didn’t sell you.I found a good deal online. I spent over 1500$ on new winter tires the year before at the same garage. Never again will I go there. Overpriced and bad service. Beware
Ok garage and generally does good quality work. Been a customer for over 10 years and all the repairs have been completed satisfactorily and my Toyota Corolla 2010 runs smoothly after every repair. I recently had an issue with a specific cost for a shock change and was not too happy about it. The Management/operations staff was very responsive to my concern and after a phone call with the manager....the issue was addressed and rectified promptly! So, I am a satisfied customer because of their quick response and will continue to be a customer of Fredette.
Not your typical mechanic, by far. Fast, courteous and efficient service. They go out of their way to make sure that you’re satisfied. One event worth mentioning: I found the tires I wanted at a cheaper price elsewhere, told them about it and they beat it without hesitation. They know the technical intricacies of European makes.
Very unhappy with my experience at this establishment. I was late for my appointment to change my tires and was turned away after I drove 50 minutes in solid traffic to get there. I was spoken to as if I am too stupid to get that it takes at least half an hour to change tires....too bad they don't get that you don't treat clients this way. No efforts were made to find a solution, I was told I could take another appointment at 7h30 the next morning, not very helpful. I would be embarrassed if I owned that business. Who turns away clients and in their busy season????? Anyways, I got my tires that I already paid to have stored there and left, another 40 minutes to get back home...Goodbye Jack, never going back.
This place used to be pretty good. Last time I went there car problems while on vacation they ripped me off every possible way. My alternator died, they couldn't/wouldn't give me a time estimate for completion at least they finished on time and didn't exceed what's a good replacement time. They completely screwed me over parts prices 100%+ uplift on what I would have paid at a parts store and changed things that didn't even need to be changed. They replaced a brand new battery that had been installed 3 weeks before. Told me it tested bad. When I got back home, I brought it back to the parts store that re-tested it and it came out clean. I would NOT recommend this place to anybody.
Used to be a good place to get your car fixed with friendly staff and competent mechanics but things have changed. Mr. Fredette who now seem to have developed a taste for fancy and very expensive cars thought that WE, the customers should be abused with over-priced service to pay for his lust for very expensive bling-bling on 4 wheels. Sorry bucko... find another cow, I'm done! You will understand that I do not do business with that place anymore and that I surely do NOT recommend it.
