Story

Fratellos Appleton offers a contemporary, urban feel with a hint of history with it's original Vulcan Hydroelectric Power Plant's architecture surrounding it's oh-so-chic dining room and outdoor deck – all overlooking the Fox River. And the food? Just the way you like it: Good and simple, featuring a tasteful array of seafood, steaks, pastas, sandwiches and pizzas. It's picturesque full bar offers their own handcrafted Fox River Brewing Co. beer, award winning wine list and extensive martini list (48!) as well as daily Happy Hour from 3-6 pm, Monday through Friday. Today my girlfriend and I decided to have a last minute date night and we chose Fratellos because of good things we had heard from family and friends. Upon walking in the doors we were happily greeted by two hostesses who were happy to see us and then our waiter Spencer was absolutely fantastic he explained everything to us with amazing detail and he definitely knows and enjoys his job very much. Thanks for the amazing service Spencer!! We will definitely be back soon!

Food is quite good. Servers arevery good and we'll groomed in their business attire.
Food prices is par for the ambiance.
My only disappointment is that I  ordered coffee and when brought out with creamer in one of the little stainless pitchers that you would expect in a classy place like this , they would have real cream in the pitchers  and not just 1% milk for a creamer.
This is a very big letdown when taking it all in and knowing how much a cup of coffee must cost here.
Everything else was perfect and I will come back and hopefully to find real cream for the experience

I tried the Sashimi grilled tuna, and the "world-famous" white chicken chili. First piece of tuna tasted fishy, the rest of it was delicious. I asked how fresh the tuna was… The waiter was very candid and said as fresh as it can be in the Midwest. I loved his response… The soup was rich, if I were hungry I would have loved to try the pan fried walleye. The restaurant is housed in The first hydroelectric power plant. Great Historic atmosphere, pelicans and geese outside the window. Very clean, the service was fantastic, I would absolutely come back here again.

Was up here visiting my sister and she just HAD to take here it's one of her all time favs. I can see why. Super friendly staff, the food is AMAZING. You have to try the cherry coffee. The restaurant sits right on the river across from the damn. The Pelicans have a great time catching fish here and they are super fun to watch. There was this black water bird that kept surfing the rush of water coming from the damn. There is a nice walk area that is on the river side of the restaurant, nice to wonder after you've eaten.

Wonderful views/atmosphere. Food was delicious. I would recommend the shrimp and lobster omelette.
