The lack of professionalism at this establishment today was shocking.nnA few things stood out:nThere was no sound for the slideshow presentation the family had to play music through their cell phone. There was no microphone for the family or pastor officiating to use the elderly people in the room could not hear what was being said. One of the young men on staff was sitting on the floor in the back playing on their phone during the funeral service. I felt terrible for the family, we all did.nnThe grand finale was the walk to the room for refreshments. We had to walk past a freezer that holds bodies and then past 10 caskets with price tags on them advertising for business. It was all quite unprofessional and highly insensitive to say the least.nnI gave one star because it’s cost-effective for people without means.
My close friends experienced the devastation of a sudden death in their family. They came to FRFH as it was a non-profit, and so they know they would not be exploited as happens so often at for-profit funeral homes where everyone is on commission. They / we worked with funeral director Christina Nicholson, and we cannot say enough good about the whole experience of planning and conducting a funeral onsite. Christina was simply amazing on so many levels. Thanks to her and the other staff members, the funeral / celebration of life was meaningful and authentic with no glitches. I highly recommend FRFH to anyone who needs professional and empathetic assistance along with a commitment to integrity. FRFH is a credit to the community it serves.
I highly recommend this community-minded, non-profit oganization which delivered all agreed upon services promptly and efficiently. Very professional, yet compassionate and most reasonably priced. My family is very grateful.
