looks like a former school which has now been converted to a community centre. quite an interesting space as there isnt much sports facilities like other community centres. more of a focus on arts, music and crafts. worth checking out if youre in the neighbourhood
Quite a huge place with many services available on site.
Old school turned into a Community centre, great reception areas. The staff was also very helpful. Small parking lot, so if you are coming plan to come early to reserve one of the good spots ;
The woman at the reception desk was terribly rude. I can not believe the lack of customer service provided at this community centre.nnI planed a huge party in one of their gyms, and had many of my guest very upset with the transactions they had with the receptionist.nnVery dissipointed. I would highly suggest retraining your staff. I would never hold an event here again!
This is a hidden gem within South Etobicoke. They have a bunch of amenities. But most people come for the gyms. The 1st gym is hard wood and the 2nd is hard tiled. Most court sports can be played here. The only downside is that they're not full sized regulation courts. But honestly, it helps with letting teammates get back on defense :nAlthough it's an old Rec.Center they've updated the interior like their washrooms. Free parking is a plus.
