Atmosphere - quite beautiful. The outside of the restaurant does not do the inside justice. Cozy atmosphere, perfect for date night or late night drinks. The food was not something to write home about, though. The sauce in the rigatoni salsiccia was watery, I would not recommend the dish. Our party was not offered any dessert either before the bill which I found surprising. Overall, I would return solely for drinks, as their cocktails looked interesting.
Though the food looks picture perfect, the taste wasn't really commendable. Neat cozy ambience with good hospitality was the best apart along with the delicious tiramisu. Definitely a good spot to chill before or after shopping at the outlet mall.
Really nice ambiance in the restaurant, was really busy but we had a reservation for 8 so we didn't have to wait. However the room we were seated in was very cold, they were accommodating with the portable heaters but they only had two - this was the only negative part though. The food was delicious, they provide complimentary foccacia - so good. We also had two people with lots of allergies and celiac and they were very knowledgeable with their allergy procedures. The beet and steak salad was amazing, and great compliments on the lamb shank was sooo good. Will be coming back! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan/vegetarian options Parking: Lots of parking Dietary restrictions: Handled gluten /celiac well and nut allergy and fish
This restaurant has a good amount of parking. The restaurant has a great selection of table sizes for a wide variety of group sizes. We had a wonderfully comfortable booth. There was a large circle table nearby that had space for a large group maybe 10 people. We were seated quickly by friendly staff. Our server got our drink order quickly while we mulled over their menu. We tried the beef carpaccio as a starter. We ordered nonna's lasagna and minestrone soup and the beef and beet salad. The starter was great and arrived first. After we finished it the mains were brought out quickly. The food was hot and tasty. The lasagna was really good, the sauce was fresh tasting. The beef and beet salad was quite good. The minestrone soup very savory. It was strange that they didn't have a bread basket. I always enjoy restaurants showcasing their skills with fresh bread We are currently planning our next visit.
All I can say is WOW! This is my second time here so I thought I’d save the review for round two. The food, staff and service has been amazing! I highly recommend the calamari and the Steak & Beet salad. They also have an amazing wine selection …. Pro tip = half price bottles on Wednesday.
Lots of variety. The calamari is excellent , pizzas are thin crust and so tasty! Some meat pastas are a bit over salted. Ambiance and service are always great. Vegetarian options: Lots of options. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids' menu with crayons and they are able to eat in the bar. Parking: Easy to find a spot. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking beside door and easy entry.
First time at this restaurant - was a really great dining experience. Ample parking for this restaurant. There are several different areas to this restaurant - including a lounge; round tables that seat up to 8-10 people and booths in the main dining area, and a separated area beyond some doors that offers a more private area if desired. The menu has a lot of great options. We had the Beef Carpaccio to start - delicious dish - reminded me of a restaurant in Europe that we had the same dish at. Perfectly prepared with capers, grana padano cheese, arugula and a nice mustard - presentation was excellent. The minestrone soup was very good - traditional recipe. The Beet and Steak salad had very nice notes of flavour - loved the beets, cherry tomatoes and the steak. The croutons were delicious. Could have used a few more croutons and tomatoes and dressing in this salad to balance with the amount of greens in this dish. Nonna Maria's Lasagna was very good - ample portion. It was strange to not receive bread or rolls with our meal - would have been great to soak up the lasagna sauce from this great dish. We will be going to this restaurant again.
We have been meaning to try this restaurant for awhile. We were greeted by friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. We started with the Arancini and Gnocco Fritto followed by the Mushroom Ravioli and Shrimp Tagliatelle. Everything was wonderful. I can't wait to bring our friends. Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options on the menu. Parking: Large lot. Free parking. Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free substitutes on the main menu as well as a separate gluten free menu.
The wait wasn’t too long to get a table! There’s a dining room and a lounge, and is very spacious. Food was good! Had the beef dip and the mushroom pizza, but will try the pasta next time! Good date night vibes but there were also families there! Would definitely recommend.
Food here was incredible. Nice to have a good Italian restaurant in Winnipeg that isn't a chain. We ordered one of their signature pizzas and the lamb shank, both were cooked to perfection and super flavourful. Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating to celiacs and other food allergies
