The flavour of the chicken sandwich is great and the amount of chicken was generous. You get a good amount of chicken with every bite! The only thing is the bun was not just toasted but blackened. Surprisingly, the coleslaw was a standout. I'd order again just for a side of that!
I have ordered from this place a few times. The food can be good, but it's inconsistent. The sauces and spice level are different. The last time I ordered the sauce used was completely different some ghost pepper sauce or something and not at all what I was expecting. Sometimes it's not even spicy or missing sauce.
Changed to 3 stars.FOOD DESERVES 100 STARS!! It is the best chicken in town but they should really do something about the staff. Do you guys forget things on purpose? I order nearly everyday and 9 out of 10 times there's something missing! Even if you order two things one has to be missing. Its rediculous
I wish I had better things to say... Just received my order from Skipthedishes and 1. there was next to NO sauce on the sandwich, the fingers that made up the sandwich were not cooked pink meat!, and I didn't get the slaw I was so excited to try! Spent over $20 and basically ate about 4 no longer hot/soggy curly fries and through the rest out. I'm so bummed.
Decided to try this last night after hearing good things. Chicken strips are so good! Definitely better than Popeyes or KFC. Took one star off because they forgot the coleslaw which I was excited to try and one of the strips was quite small. Dips are tasty and the curly fries are as expected. Update: I have tried to call and order again. They do not answer the phone for 2+ minutes. And I am not calling during their peak hours. Last time they tried to tell me to order through Uber. I don't have ubereats, hence why I called! When I showed up for my food, staff were standing around chatting and laughing but nobody came to help. They seem to hate customers.
Ordered via UberEATS! My boss has been ordering this daily ever since their BOGO special, and we’ve all been wondering about the hype. Today we decided to give it a try to see what it’s all about! It’s got a touch of sweet, but a nice heat to it of course, just in case, we wen’t for the middle one and not hot AF. The pickle gives it a nice twist, while the chicken isn’t dry, but not absolutely juicy either. Not too overfilling where you’ll feel bloated after the sandwich, but it did leave me quite thirsty. MSG? I liked it, wouldn’t say I loved it. Would be open to having it again on a busy day if I needed a quick meal!
Ordered via Skip the dishes but for pick up since you can’t order directly. We had two of the classic chicken sandwiches and they were delicious! Generous amount of chicken, crispy and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Would definitely return!
Best Hot chicken in Ottawa. People complain about it being oily but that is Nashville style hot chicken, cayenne infused oil added after cooking. The garlic toast is a nice touch and their dips are really good. Curly fries were great. A bit pricey for what you get but that might be them recouping the ridiculous delivery app charges. I got the hot AF tender combo and it was hot enough where I was sweating but not where I could not finish. Much better than Hanley's in Stittsville.
Had the Frankie's chicken sandwich with bacon today. OMG it was unreal! fries were good and the slaw was on point. Definitely going back.
Excellent chicken sandwich. Three huge strips on a brioche bun featuring pickles and a choice of sauce. The onions rings are breaded not battered, were fresh, crispy, delicious and comes with a choice of sauce. I'll definitely be returning for more.
