The office manager, Deborah, is extremely rude and nasty. She will not discuss any issue people may have. Clients are not allowed in the office, but can only talk through an office window. She is a proven liar over and over. I have been storing items there for years and have never had a problem, but Deborah is someone who needs to change her ways or be fired.
Got a call that we haven't paid. We do direct debit, the bank sends a check. This happened once before and thought it was straightened out. I printed out the bank Direct Debit transactions and took them down to show the office girl. Its obviously a machine/electronic generated check. It clearly shows a direct debit check generated on 26 Aug, that was signed and was processed 30 Aug clearing our account on 1 Sept. She insisted we hadn’t paid and would not budge from this position. She continued to insisted that I write a check for September despite her holding the proof they were paid right in her hand. That is the cashed and cleared electronic check generated from the bank. I asked to be put in contact with her boss and she refused saying she was the "Queen God" yes she said Queen God of the business. I happen to know her parents own the business. Among other things she was hurling at me in a rage she said to leave, so I left. I returned shortly later to empty my unit. I saw that the owner was there and took the same printout from our bank to show her. I showed her the documentation indicating a payment at the end of Aug for the month of Sept. At first the mother suggested that the payment processed on 30 Aug was for the month of Aug. I think she than realized that wouldn't make sense as you pay at the beginning of the month for the upcoming month, not the end. She than suggested I was a month behind all this time, for months and months and months. But we were never notified of this and in fact is incorrect After that I realized I was talking to people who have great difficulty admitting that they could be wrong and appear to have no experience running a business and keeping accurate records. I gave up. It was pointless to continue. The Office manager has all the traits of someone who has never had to suffer any consequences for poor behavior or for being wrong. Who in fact, refuses to accept she might be wrong. Which explains the poor behavior noted here and in the other 1 star reviews. The Office manager is related to the owners. I think they got this business just to provide a way to make a living as such a nasty piece of work could never hold a job without being fired. She'll eventually destroy this business. Any other business would never tolerate this behavior and poor management. Bottom line is that its most likely the Office Manager failed to record my payment as received in whatever record keeping system they are using. I think recordkeeping errors might be common considering what I have read in other 1 star reviews I advise to avoid this storage business. I moved all my stuff out today. Had to pay more... but its was worth it.
New management won't return my calls or emails! I'm not able to make my payment, my storage unit has bugs and rats and they upped the charge starting this month for infested units!
I had to rate this to even write a review but I have to tell you they dont even deserve a number that's how horrible this storage is. I'll start with the unprofessional nasty attitude the staff girl has . We caught her in 4 lies in less than a minute but worse than that from the moment I walked in she had the most horrible manners nor business attitude I think I've ever encountered. They are thieves ! We rented a unit,my husband did and when I went there and seen the attitude first,rat traps EVERYWHERE BTW, water flowing all over by the unit he rented, no lights working, ect. I asked for the money back she informed me she would have to ask the owner after the meeting the next day ,we asked for the owner to contact us NEVER HEARD FROM HIM. The door was the size of a entry door but unit size of one car garage at one point we even asked to get another unit not wanting any problems. She informed me in a nasty way they didn't have another one available. Well all the sudden when we wanted a refund hmmmm one was available. We do not want to do business with you we want a refund. Bottom line THEY STOLE MY HUSBAND'S MONEY. Nothing is in the unit and wont be because we just wanted our money back. Everyone I spoke to told me this is the most horrible storage in Panama city. Do not do business with them. I have reported them and have hired a lawyer in reference to this. BEWARE PEOPLE OF THIS STORAGE SITE
The owner of this property rude and hang up in my face while I’m talking and told me he done with the conversation ok have a nice day with a nasty tone don’t go here high for nun dirty as heck and gate never open
Woman who manages this place is dreadful. Dead eyes fake laughter and this look of idgaf The units are decrepit and getting in and out is a pain. Their facility is behind a many times locked gate you can just drive around back to avoid. I mean what's security to these people? Dodgy
Horrible!!! The unit had bad/ huge holes and leaked in the roof, and mud-doppers had built multiple nests on my goods along with the mold and mildew that incurred. I notified on- site management and after a week of no activity I gave notice and asked for contact info for the owner. He texted me in a VERY vulgar and personal manner. I have removed my goods and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau - along with pursuing legal justice and compensation. This is a very shoddy operation —- Do Not Waste Your Time or the Expense and the Quality of your items!!
Clean, secure, great pricing.
The owners are thieves! The put a lock on my unit even though my rent was paid in full and attempted to steal my property!
New owners have really cleaned it up & are doing further improvements.
