Frères de la Côte

I had one of their local API and a cheese plate for my wife and I to share. The beer and the cheese plate was good (hard to mess those up...) So far so good. Until our order come in. My wife's ham and mushrooms pizza was saggy. Not sure how you don't drain the mushrooms before putting them on the pizza or just not using fresh ones.... If they were to use fresh mushrooms the pizza would have been great! My lamb dinner was underwhelming... I got a slice of lamb that was chewy and under seasoned. Don't know why would you even offer lamb on the menu if it's not a premium cut... The service was good and that's the only reason why I give it 3 stars.

I was looking for dinner when coming back up from the old town and took a peek at their menu which seemed to offer some interesting items over the pretty typical pub fair found on that street. The restaurant has a hip vibe and cozy feel to it. I ordered the Tartare de Saumon and a local microbrew which was presented nicely. Staff was friendly and quick to find me a seat, definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

Very bad restaurant!! We waited 2 hours for the food, and food is not good. They probably used McD's fries cause it tasted exactly the same McD. The waitress are not nice at all! It is the worst restaurant I've ever been to!

Decided to stop at the first place we found. Overall the service was ok but the food is relatively expensive and wasn't very good. Fish and chips were tasteless, and we're pretty sure the fries came from the McDonald's 2 doors over. An $80+ dinner felt more like it should have cost $30. Wouldn't go back.

It wasn't too bad, but compared to every other place we ate at during our week long visit to QC, I would say it was the most generic tourist trap. From our experience and from reading the other reviews, their meat platters seem to be over-cooked and underwhelming, my pasta was decent but again, underwhelming. Our waiter was doing his best for how busy they were when we visited, but some of the other waitresses were extremely aggressive and rude, throwing dirty dishes around and making a point to pass by tables that needed service without even giving them a glance. Honestly, don't waste your time here unless nothing else is open, the only plus was the location.
