Delicious food, good atmosphere & prompt service
These people who gave 5 stars are either Radisson or Fox Bistro's staff. Very bad service. The waiter was being short and rude. Not once did he check on us after taking our order. Food portion was so small canned food quality. And worst yet, they included 20% gratuity for party of two. We paid $60 for chicken curry not real chicken btw, it's frozen fast food type, shrimp linguine and two diet coke. There are other restaurants just outside the hotel. Spend your money there, you'll get much better experience. Yup, even if you have an airline voucher, because your voucher probably only cover half of your bill.
Service was AWFUL, food was mediocre at best. I’ve had better customer service Literally anywhere else. Might have been the fact we had airport vouchers but we my friend and I are still customers. They didn’t even ask what side we wanted with our meal and just assumed even though I would have liked the soup, I was given fries. Would never recommend spending your accual money here. If I could give a zero star rating I would.
Me and my partner had an awful and very embarrassing experience at this establishment. When we arrived the waiter motioned for us to come sit, and didn’t even speak to us. When we sat at a table he got mad at us and told us to move. He then preceded to mock us and ask “why would you even sit there I’m telling you to sit over here”. The waiter did not check on us during or meal or offer us refills. The waiter “Stanley” seemed very annoyed with our presence. At the end of our meal the waiter DEMANDED we pay the tip and said we HAD to pay it or we couldn’t leave. There was no way we were paying gratuity with such poor service... Next, he raised his voice at us, mocked us in front of guests and caused a complete scene about the lack of tip. He kept insisting we pay it. He then told us to get out of his establishment immediately. We have never been so embarrassed and this was terribly unproffessional. Never have I ever received such poor service. We did nothing wrong- I can’t believe this happened.
Terrible service, rude bartender/server. I was asked what I wanted and hesitated as I did not know the menu. I was given a lecture of being in a queue for my service. I was then ignored when I wanted to place an order. Next when I finally did order I waited for more than 30 minutes still no entree or meal and I was presented with my bill. I told the lady who was now trying to look after me and she returned in about five minutes with cold French Onion Soup and my meal together. They were both cold. If I had not been so hungry I would have left without eating. If you want to enjoy a meal go somewhere else!
Most food was underwhelming, the calamari was overdone, the wings and fries were tasty, the hamburger was good. Ok beer selection. it's definitely good for our late night bite as we arrived from our flight, but definitely wouldn't seek this place out for a regular meal.
After our flight was cancelled our airlines politely offered us a $30 meal vochure, which we redeemed at the Fox Bistro. In theory, even if the meal was bad, I thought, it's free! ...OMG! We ended up paying $26 dollars MORE on top of the vochure! All we ordered were 2 diet cokes and two entrees! Our single cup of Diet Coke was $3.50 each it's all good--hardly bottle service but a reasonable money maker for the restaurant; but our server factored in his own MANDATORY tip of 15%. We weren't told about this tip in advance. So after I tipped him an additional 15% he walked away with half of the bill! What's worse is from the start, he was rude and pushed us into a table we didn't want to be in. When we asked politely to move due to wanting a booth we were met with passive-aggressiveness. "No worries", I thought again--"this is basically a free meal!". Throughout our meal he visited us three times. Once to bring the food, and twice to complain that we were better off at the other table. Really, it was laughable. The food itself was not worth the almost $7.00 tip that the server tipped himself; let alone the almost $7.00 I stupidly tipped him. Seriously. I could have made the food myself in the hote microwave. Steamed zuchinni, bland white rice wth absolutely no additional attempt at flavour--and a frozen chicken breast that looked like it came from a fast food joint. I have never posted a yelp review before--and I love food! I am the easiest going guy, and I never complain. I like all types of food; and I'm ok trying things at any price point! But this experience was the WORST! Never go here. Never wish this place on your worst enemy. Such a regret.
French onion soup was not even baked. Possibly the worst food I’ve eaten in Canada and I’ve lived here my whole life. Stan was a nice manager however. I think he knows the place is a dive.
Much nicer since they renovated. More room better atmosphere. Breakfast buffet is very good but no bacon. Can't 5* without bacon.
The service was very good, my waitress Renata is adorable. Food was great! Loved the atmosphere.
