The salad was oversaturated with dressing. The only vegetarian option was underwhelming pasta with vegetables so I opted for something else. Otherwise the meals were good but not up to our expectations. Service was ok but felt understaffed. Live music was the best part of the experience. Nice view of the water from the terrasse.
This is a must for brunch. I was pleased with the variety of items in the buffet. The staff was friendly and made sure we enjoyed our time there. The decor is rustic and situated along the water at one of the parks entrance. This was my first visit and already looking forward to my next one.
Been here a long time ago and remembered the food and service to be excellent. After a long hiatus, I returned for a Saturday evening meal. There were 2 weddings going on at the same time. Loud, no parking, and we were seated basically in the middle of a wedding party. They should have just closed he restaurant for the evening to accommodate the 2 weddings. The waiter seemed distracted, couldn’t explain the menu easily, and they informed us because of the wedding, there was no more bison. This eliminated a few of the dishes. Food was good, nothing to write home about. Probably would not return.
We are foreigners and almost each time we are at Montreal we go here for brunch. All our previous visits we were very satisfied. So we decided to go for brunch today again. This time we feel cheated. Of course, these days no buffet. But for brunch there is very limited choice of meals from the already short menu. Portions are small and the food is very bad and disgusting. The ingredients listed in the menu are completely missing. There was no bacon and only three mini cubes of sausage in the "Brunch Plate" meal. I have checked my two years old credit card statement. Those days I paid for full buffet brunch of excellent meals, quantity of which we were not able to eat, almost the identical money. My perception is that we have lost one of our favorite restaurants.

How delicious was our Valentine's Day meal!! The owner is also such a generous man. He gave us an extra desert and an extra entry. Gourmet and savory food, lovely presentation, all made with love from local ingredients. I can't wait to return and eat in the restaurant when we will be allowed to!
Our dinner here was the highlight of our trip. All of the food was superb and reasonably priced for such an elegant setting. We had a large group but were still met with enthusiasm and kindness by the staff. The service was at a relaxed pace, we did wait a while for our food. But this was a big social occasion for our family so we were happy that the meal lasted a long time. Plenty of drinks and incredibly great bread was provided while we waited. Don't expect to get in and out of here quickly. This was a lovely dining experience, just relax and enjoy! We ordered the tasting flight of beers and then chose the ones we liked best. Absolutely incredible. And don't pass up the desserts- they were phenomenal! Oh and another plus for our group that was not fluent in French- English menus were provided!
Lovely restaurant with excellent service and outdoor seating. They have a great beer selection and the food is very reasonably priced.
Beautiful location, loved the terrasse under the huge tree with the view of the lake and really loved the relaxed late afternoon/early evening vibe. The people working the tables were great and friendly. The food, not so much. I tried the magret de canard grillé and after two bites I had to return it because it was uncooked and tasted bad. Maybe it's just me and I don't know how to appreciate duck breast cooked rare? But then I would have expected the server to ask if I wanted it rare or well done. Or maybe it was legitimately bad?
We went there on a sunny summer Sunday morning. We had the buffet brunch. The buffet was average. They were supposed to start at 1000 but they were late and started 30 minutes later. But was was really great is we ate outdoors, near the water. This was really nice. Prices were correct. I recommend this place for a sunny morning brunch. Come early so you can have one of the best spots near the river.
