I had a very strained experience while attempting to register my child for attendance at Four Seasons Montessori. Communication was harmed badly by the glacial pace of progress, often taking days to respond to basic emails while they declined to offer an alternative solution such as a working phone number. Their staff gave away the spot they offered to my child while we were in the midst of scheduling transfer from her existing day care service, which very nearly put us in the position of having no daycare at all for part of each week. My best intuition is that they offered the same position to multiple families in parallel without disclosing this while they also stressed the importance of proceeding ASAP by preemptively scheduling end of service at my existing day care. The staff involved in operations are wholly disinterested in feedback, and are more interested in blame-shifting by spinning every opportunity for feedback in to cause to accuse one of causing undue offence. I assure you, my reaction to this event was as politely expressed as anyone could ever hope it to be. Additional conversation along these lines continued in the same manner, which initially left me feeling guilty and irresponsible but with time I now understand it was just to avoid any effort to attempt to understand my perspective. The management is clearly comfortably indifferent with knowledge that they have a long wait list they can burn through without consequence to their enrollment level. Ultimately my child is not attending here which I am grateful for as she is attending another program where adult conversation is encouraged and well-received with productive outcomes.nnI desire against this being understood as commentary on the teaching staff or quality of education in the classroom as I lack adequate experience to opine on this other than a property tour from a staff member which I left very pleased with, but I don't expect that the environment is conducive to authentic feedback from within, either.nnIf you really value the Montessori-style of education and you're willing to jump through hoops while keeping your thoughts to yourself, this place may work well for you.
My daughter attended this preschool for 2 years, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. The staff are caring, professional and excellent at their jobs. The program helped my daughter develop confidence, independence and compassion. She flourished there. I would not hesitate to recommend Four Seasons Montessori to any of my friends.nI am really surprised at the negative reviews, as those comments do not at all represent the people I interacted with for 2 years.
I absolutely love this school and the teachers but even better the kids love it more. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. I know that my children are personally taken care of. My kids look forward to going there every day. This year all three of my daughters, aged 3, 4 and 5, are attending Four Seasons together. My oldest is in the kindergarten program and says she is learning new things every day. Over the years that I have sent my kids here I have seen them excel both academically and personally. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who wants a well-rounded environment for their children to grow and learn in.nnKathy Plavetic
Our children have thrived in the calm and nurturing environment, which really suited their personalities, learning and growth. The staff are extremely experienced and so skilled in teaching, not only academic but also life skills. Our older child was very well adapted when entering kindergarten in the public school system, and with a sense of curiosity, confidence and community. Our family is so grateful to be a part of Four Seasons Montessori!
We were so thrilled to find this school when we moved back to the island. The move was a big shift for all of us, and finding a school that was so nurturing and attentive to our daughter's needs immediately reassured us that the transition would go well for her. We especially loved the parent night - our daughter was so proud to show us everything she was learning and we loved getting a chance to see what the school was all about!
