This is a unique pizza shop. Independently owned. Walking in is like stepping back in time. The pizza, is the best pizza I’ve had in a while. Homemade recipe, and it’s nothing like the chain stores. It’s better. The pricing is reasonable. Just note that this merchant doesn’t accept cards of anytime. Check or cash. This is a more old school shop, and it’s hard to find them like that. I would highly recommend trying this place out. GREAT pizza.
Great tasting pizza! The owner has been making pizzas for decades so you can always trust the taste and quality will be there! The pizza was hot and the aroma was incredibly decadent. The sauce had a wonderful flavoring to it with great seasonings, the cheese was plentiful and tasty. The cheese breadsticks were a winner as well! Covered in cheese and delicious garlic buttery goodness! Much better than anything you can get at a chain pizza place!

The owner is great and super friendly. Pizza is fairly good, but could use more flavor on the crust. The 24 inch pizza is ridiculously HUGE, but it will give us several days of leftovers so thats a plus!
Nothing fancy here, but the $1 pizza by the slice lunch deal was great, and the food was hot and ready. Made for a quaint & fast meal :. Cash only.
Use to go to another Ravenna Pizza place but raised prices. Tried 4J's & never looked back! 4th time in 2weeks! We LOVE THEIR PIZZA & SUBS!! Great Prices, Fantastic Tasting Pizzas, Great Variety of Subs & Super Quick! Great Customer Service! Always Fresh Ingredients! Thank You, 4J's!!!
I personally known the owner my entire life. Never have i once seen him bring his pets into the work place. Credit cards can be scammed that's why he sticks to cash only. The pizza and ingredients are always fresh. Great place all around.
I travel a lot for work and I love to try a new pizza place in every new city I go to. This was by far the most disappointing pizza I've ever had. I feel bad leaving this review because the owner and sole worker was very nice. That said, the pizza was awful. Flavorless crust. The sausage pieces were massive and tasted off. I typically eat half a large pizza in one sitting but with this pizza I got through one and a half slices and had to quit. 1 star is generous.
Owner is DISGUSTING! He use to own a four j's pizza in Grand Rapids and was known for being dirty. I was told about how he allowed his animals cat & dog to not only be in the restaurant but in the kitchen as well. So I went in to check it out for myself. Sure enough he was letting his cat walk around on the kitchen counter, I was pretty grossed out . Needless to say I NEVER ate anything from this place due to the fact I don't like to eat hair.
