So after being told how great this place is I finally had the chance to go to the Fountain Diner. Being Easter Monday I wasn’t sure how busy they would be but they were able to seat me on their heated patio. The Fountain Diner is a quaint little spot with what looks like about 30 seats inside and another 12-15 outside. The menu has a great selection of diner food. Their breakfast menu is available all day too. I opted for their fried chicken burger but noticed they had a Louisiana style fried chicken Benny so I asked if they could toss my chicken burger patty in the Louisiana hot sauce. The burger was hot and fresh and very tasty! This chicken burger was served on a nicely toasted bun and had nice fresh lettuce and tomatoes and diced pickles perfectly suited with the Louisiana hot sauce and was a very good portion. The fries were hot and crispy and lightly seasoned and also a very good portion. The prices are right in line with what you’d expect to pay for good quality food. And the service was very good. From the person that seated me to the servers that took my order and brought my food, er tone was friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely go back to the Fountain Diner.
Amazing pancakes - so thick and fluffy.. My eyes were bigger than my stomach as I only managed 2 and a bit out of 3! They were a must for visiting my family over here, and I’m glad we found this diner. Definitely will be back!
I have been trying to eat here for as long as I can remember. My husband and I finally went. The vibe was chill, and our server was amazing. She went above and beyond for us. I went for the veggie omelet, and it was good. My husband had the fountain and liked it. The food is quite basic. We need to try more dishes to properly rate it though. The service made this a really good experience. We will be going back to try other meals.
Great local diner. Had their smoked meat skillet and love their style of potatoes they use. It is fully loaded and can easily serve two people. I will definitely come back to try their other menu items.
Ordered a beef burger with fries through skip and 2 other meals, my fries were very pale/almost raw. The burger was bright red at the edge of the burger where I bit in, luckily spat it out and hopefully I don't get sick. 10/10 would not recommend.
Old fashion menus and old fashion vibe. The breakfast are so big that I couldn’t finish it. Overall it’s a great place to try.
Very unsatisfied with the appearance of my breakfast dish. Ordered the belmont benny and the chicken & waffles coming to a total of $45! We do not recommend take out at this establishment.
We were given a gift card to this restaurant. Biked out there great that it had a bike rack right outside. We enjoyed our lunch outside. They had a great selection. We ordered the Big Box Burger with onion rings and the Salmon Benny with hashbrowns. Both very tasty. Service staff were quick to seat us, deliver menus and drinks. Food was quick to come to the table and hot.
The food was delicious and the hostess and server at the end of our meal was delightful. However, I am removing a star as the server we had for most of the meal was rude and made us feel like we were a massive inconvenience on her day. After we received our food, she never came to check on us, mostly stayed behind the desk. When my husband was able to flag her down as she walked by to ask for hot sauce, she scowled and walked away to get it, barely acknowledging us. Thankfully the lovely gentleman server was able to help us receive our bill.
This place was recommended to me during my trip to visit Victoria. It did not disappoint. The food was amazing and portion sizes were large for the pricing. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Would recommend as a "go to" breakfast or lunch spot.Food: 5/5
