Absolutely blown away by Foundry Coffee, a true little gem in Carleton Place! The coffee is exceptional — rich, smooth, and clearly crafted with care. The service is warm and genuine, and the staff clearly love what they do. The space itself is beautifully designed, blending small-town charm with modern, minimalist decor and a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while. Whether you’re grabbing a quick espresso or lingering over a latte with friends, this spot delivers every time. I took home their espresso blend, it was fantastic! A well-deserved 5-star recommendation!
No wonder this coffee shop has such a high rating.. we were passing by Carleton place and stopped here for coffee and it didn’t disappoint… atmosphere is so inviting and modern, the coffee is amazing we got espresso and iced latte we also tried their avocado toast it was great.. if your in the area definitely don’t miss this lovely gem!
Skip Tim Hortons and Starbucks. This small-town coffee place is worth finding a parking spot.nnFoundry Coffee Bar is such a wonderful spot! My extra frothy cappuccino was so delicious. My husband loved his decaf coffee.nnThe service was excellent, too. The people who work at Foundry are so friendly and kind! You can tell that the people who work there love their jobs.nnThe only reason why I didn't give 5-stars for the atmosphere is because the lighting was a little bright for my personal taste. I'm big into lighting ambiance. If I could give atmosphere a 4.9 stars, I would!nnIf you're reading this, go check out this spot. You will not regret it!
A very welcoming space. Bright, roomy, comfortable. The music is easy to work or read with, and the various types of seating are different from most other places.nThe staff at the counter were very pleasant. Huge smile, and very patient in answering my questions regarding dietary restrictions and what options are available.nLove that they have options for food for those with different diets/needs.nOrdered an oat milk mocha and it was so good. Not overly sweet, just the right amount while letting the cocoa and coffee flavors through. Nice and creamy.nI'll definitely be back.
Trendy spot serving up coffee and a few other beverages. The drink menu is limited, particularly if you're like me and don't drink coffee. There was a jar of cookies and a single almond croissant on a plate on the counter, uncovered, lots of flies landing on it. Don't come here looking for food. I liked that they sell fair trade and locally roasted coffee I have never heard of. The atmosphere is good and there were lots of people hanging out.
