Food is good but portions are SO TINY. Counted 3 pieces of beef in my beef and broccoli. Manchu Wok gives about triple the amount of food for the same price if not cheaper.
We decided we wanted to check out the various stands at the Food Court in Park Royal South, in West Vancouver, and comment on the ones that we either especially liked, or thoroughly detested. This was one of the latter. I ordered Sweet and Sour Pork, expecting a dinner, with a small helping of maybe 5 pieces of succulent pork deep fried in a sweet batter, plus sauce to moisten a small side of rice and veg for the price $10. Silly me, what I got was 12 to 15 chunks of varying sizes and appearance of Sweet and Sour Pork with a small amount of thick coagulated sauce, in a small Styrofoam box! I sampled one of the weirder shaped ones and it turned out to be a huge chunk of deep fried gristle! No kidding! As was about a third to a half of the total offering. The rest was what might have once been tasty pork but it had been deep fried to death into hard, chewy balls which were hardly worth the effort required to get them to a condition where they could be swallowed. So this is one concession we can definitely cross off our list.
The food is okay when it's fresh. I don't know what the rent is like for Park Royal, but the size of the portion is not worth the price. Manchu Wok at Metrotown gives alot more for about the same price. The food is not bad though. I've seen stale options before.
Food was stale and hardened, BBQ pork was almost all fat and the meat was dark and burned. Sweet and sour park so hard to chew. Tastes as if has been sitting for a day since cooked. Threw it out after attempting to eat it. Garbage.
I came here because it was the shortest line in the food court, probably a mistake. Big portion, tastes terrible. If you're an overweight lifelong smoker with a stomach to fill and no regard for flavour, this might be a good choice for you. Everyone else, don't do it.
Tiny portion size, food wasn't even touching the walls of a typical takeout container...
Was good in the old food court, but since moving, is now reduced in quality, and increased in price and not subtle, like $3 more Pretty apalling that they charge more than actual sit down chinese places for lunch.
Pretty good selection though though nothing seemed to have any sauce to it, and the veggies were a bit under cooked the white onion especially
The food is usually dry like it's been out for a while. Also the food is on the bland side.
It is ok fast, ready to serve and eat Chinese food
