Great food, good service, clean and open late til 10:30 pm do it was perfect going to dine there after a day hike, rock climbing and soak in Miette hotsprings. I recommend this Chinese restaurant and other great little mum and pop shops and restaurants in Hinton...the service and experience is so good.
A hidden gem of tasty Canadian-Chinese food at reasonable prices. We found this restaurant by accident while driving to another eatery. The tip off was seeing ALOT of parked cars in front of this restaurant and almost none at our original choice. Another good sign was the number of people doing pickup for take out food. It was Good Fortune to find this friendly small family run restaurant with a buffet on a Saturday night. It had a good selection of traditional favorites, as well as a small salad bar with freshly prepared cut fruits and vegetables, and cold seafood shrimps and mussels. The buffet trays were refilled frequently so that food was freshly cooked and hot. I have to say the tender and flavourful ginger beef was perfect, worth a repeat visit on its own. They also make delectable won ton soup - you can taste the ginger notes in the soup dumpling. We will certainly make it one of our favorite Hinton stops from now on. Just $24.99 for adults on a Saturday night, seniors and kids are less.
Average tasting food. The best thing we ordered was probably the spring rolls. The rice was very bland and the noodles were below average. They seem to be quite popular, so it was a disappointing experience for us. Service was good. But that was about it.
Came here for New Years, lots of people had reservations. Food service was terrible. Who ever was in charged of the buffet failed. Full house and empty buffet. Always pay attention to your buffet. People were waiting long to get a full plate. Not impressed
The Wor Wonton soup is delicious! I could eat this every day. A lovely flavour, lots of veg cooked to perfection and the wontons melt in your mouth. Highly recommend!
Food was ok, but mine came with a metal wire in it. I got 10% descont! Guess they don't treat a life threating mistake too seriously Food: 1/5
Food was really good, generous portions, server was nice and prompt. Good atmosphere and reasonable prices. Buffet available as well.
I surprisingly enjoyed the food I ordered and my favourite was the diced sweet and sour chicken and delivery was fast and the delivery lady was very nice!
