Books, DVDs, audio book CDs, music CDs, ebooks, digital magazines, informational databases, story times, special events, programming events, free wireless internet access, public computers, large print books, Daisy books for the visually impaired, multilingual books, magazines, newspapers, summer reading programs, interlibrary loans from northeast libraries and libraries throughout Canada.

"The Fort St. John and Area Public Library is a community cornerstone, providing a variety of information and support for lifelong learning in a welcoming, entertaining and safe environment. The library hosts creative, community-oriented programs and delivers top-notch customer service.The FSJPL is one of few remaining Library Associations in the province of BC and is governed by Part 4 of the Library Act. Library Associations receive no direct tax support and operate on grants and fundraising.The FSJPL charges fees for photocopying, printing, faxing, laminating and exam invigilation. As a non-profit organization, these fees are charged to help defray the cost of supplying these services to the community of Fort St John."
