My daughter was very sick and I was dreading going into emergency at 7pm last night with her. But I would like to praise the staff and doctors for an amazing experience! The nurses and docs were very helpful and made my daughter a priority. She had bloodwork and urine samples done, IV too - was helped and home in no time, and doing well now, all thanks to them. Overall the BEST hospital experience I've had!
I know that there have been quite a few big issues and concerns in the community over this hospital. But im only gonna talk about my time and experience at the hospital. Which has been overall positive.nnIve had surgery here and it went smoothly and the nurses, doctors, and other staff were very friendly throughout the whole ordeal.nnIve had an MRI here. Which wasn't too long of a wait list. Took about a month to get in this is where my reason for not 5 stars lands. We had told the nurse at time of booking that they would need to obtain a record from my first surgery at a children's hospital several years ago that I didnt have a copy of for some reason which was in regards to my heart. When we arrived for out appointment and asked the nurse if they had checked that record the nurse told us they didnt have it and forgot to contact the children's hospital to obtain it. I understand things happen but it then made us have to rebook and wait about another month. Second time they had all the papers and the whole thing went smoothly.nnIf you are going for an MRI I recommend not saying you like Jazz cause that translated to apparently smooth jazz and it doesn't hide any noise.nnIve had bloodwork done here multiple times including today which is my time of writing and it was amazing the nurses have always been very nice. This last time they were very understanding and accommodating to how my body reacts to blood draws.nnIve gotten an ECG too. Which was very fast and overall very comfortable.nnThank you to the young nurse I had today she was beyond wonderful and great at finding the vein.
The nursing staff was amazing 12 out of 10 stars if I could.nI could really feel how all of my nurses and care aids cared.nExcellent food.nThe physio department was amazing.nGetting me back on my feet and getting my limbs moving again.nThanks to them I was able to return home with minimal stress on my family.nThank-you to the Dr that recieved me at emergency for acting so quickly.nThanks to the Dr and nurses for the wonderful care.nI could really feel how much they all care.nIt made my recovery go so much better.nI am very thankful to all of the staff for the great care that I received.i am eternally thankful and so is my family
It's one of the worst hospitals I've ever been in my life. The waiting time is insane l, the patients are sitting and waiting, everything is full, and the doctors and nurses are laughing and talking on front. If you ask how long you have to wait, they completely freak out. I feel as if I were not human. I have never seen anything like this in my life. I feel I'm in the third-world country. Love hospital, people come to you because they are sick and not We would like to order something. Take us seriously. And then people will donate more to your hospital.
Don't get me wrong the staff are really nice.nBut waiting 7 hours and still counting for X-ray results is rediculous. I've watched 8 people out of 28 walk out this evening. I've never experienced anything like this before. Just call an ambulance. At least you'll get seen.
