A fantastic place to bring your kids for free entertainment. There is a 0-24m age play corner, a duplo table, a computer touch table, several computers for older kids, any and every book your kids would want to read. Grab and go bags full of books, colouring/crafts tables, and plenty of things for adults as well adult computers, study rooms, a room with instruments and other hands on learning tools, etc.nnThe free coffee provided is not much more than hot brown water, but I guess you can’t complain about something that’s free : Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.nnThere is also a room for drop in and registered programs, but there is often a wait list for the registered programs.nnThey also often have books for sale at a very good price kids books 50c chapter books $1.
I am visiting the area and needed to charge my portable power station. I was permitted to use any electrical outlet in the main area. I love the various alcoves and reading nooks with the super comfortable chairs.
A large selection of books, audio and video media available for all age groups. They offer many different types of activities and programs. My children have participated in a number of them when they were younger, and they always enjoy coming to the library and participating. With memberships being completely free, that's a great added bonus. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
I’ve been to a lot of libraries in Edmonton and was pleasantly surprised to find out there was one in the Fort when I first moved here. The facility is spacious, well-maintained, and has a good variety of materials. There are various interesting programs offered. Also, the staff are friendly and helpful. Overall I am very impressed with it.
