We took the shuttle from the National Park Lac-Témiscouata and someone was waiting for us wearing a uniform. We had a guided visit and he explained the story of the fort really well. He was able to answer our questions perfectly. The story is nice and gives you a sense of belonging to Lac Témiscouata. There was 2 demonstrations that we had the chance to see. The employees were really nice and well trained. I don’t remember the name of our guide. But he told me he have been working there for 17 years. He really likes his job and we could see it. Thank you for this experience. I will definitely talk to my entourage.
We stayed the night here at their AirBnB and it was simply lovely. I would highly recommend. Very affordable and a great place to hang out and explore!Visited onWeekday
The place is beautiful! It’s right in front of the lake. You can either call or sleep in a dorm. We went to the dorm and everything was clean/tidy! We had an amazing time in the fortress!!
We stayed here overnight as you can rent via AirBnb. You get to sleep in the barracks and you share with others. Price can't be beat. The grounds are beautiful and very close to town and not far off the A85. We were driving through from Ontario.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes

This site is beautiful and historically interesting, but my review is for people thinking about staying in Fort Ingall overnight. We stayed in the Foundry's room. It's impossible to explain what an amazing experience staying overnight in the Foundry's room in a fort was! The ambiance, uniqueness, and history of that location made it truly special. For those who care about the details... Our host was prompt and polite with lots of information about the lodging, the bed was far more comfortable than I would have guessed, the shared kitchen we could use was large with 2 fridge/freezers and all of the silverware/plates/utensils we could need. There was a microwave, stove, kettle, toaster, and more. The bathrooms were very clean with a small, but nice shower with great water pressure and clean towels. They provided seasoned wood and an axe for creating a fire in their fire pit. And the WiFi worked outside by the fire. You can take a stroll down to the lake, and restaurants or a very nice supermarket are reasonably close. I imagine being out of the room by 9am might be difficult for some people, but this is a museum that opens at 9, so they need to be able to show the room. That being said, you can still use the shared kitchen area that has tons of tables and the shower bathroom until you are ready to leave. I'm so glad we stayed!
I liked a lot my experience at your historic British fortress because this fortress has lots of information panels, your admission fees is affordable but little high, this place is very attractive for tourists and your personnel is very nice and welcoming. I will recommend this to visit.
Nice place that has a good tour experience. About 1 hour with a firearm demonstration. Wished there was more, but really satisfied with the experience :.
